Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great design, poor durability My first Diamond clean toothbrush failed within a year (still within the 2 year warranty), unfortunately even though I kept the box and registered it on this website I had lost my receipt and was unable to send it in to get repaired/replaced. Now I have my second one (exact same model a year later that I have purchased using reward points which is the only reason I am giving this brand a second chance, this time I am scanning my receipt that way if the new one breaks down on me I'll be able to do something about it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I thought the product was very good. It worked very well till the on button would not go off and then it would not charge after that.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fix it yourself! Brush works great but literally comes with an expiry date. I’m on my second Sonicare which just broke yesterday after about 4 years. This brush is constructed to make sure that the consumer can’t gain entry to the inside to fix it. On another note I requested to purchase a small screw that would help me correct the problem with my brush. Denied, Sonicare doesn’t sell parts. They’d rather try and force you to fork over money for a new brush! If your remotely handy and have internet access don’t just assume your brush can’t be fixed. I got on YouTube, learned how to access the inside of my Diamondclean and fixed it myself. An extra part “screw” from Sonicare would still help me out, oh well, I made it work without their help. Next I’m posting my own YouTube video to help people fix their toothbrush. When it comes to this product you can count on a few years of efficient teeth cleaning. You can’t count on any aid from Sonicare when out of warranty. They won’t even send you a screw that’s barely worth a dime!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great until they break after the warranty expires My husband and I purchased two of these about 3 years ago. they worked great for about a year and a half when mine stopped working. That was still covered under warranty, so they sent us a replacement. A year and a half later, my husband's broke, but it was out of warranty. 3 weeks after that, my replacement broke and that was outside of warranty too. If you buy one of these, don't expect it to last much longer than 2 years before you'll have to buy a new one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed I agree with many of the posts. It is an excellent toothbrush with excellent features and design, BUT it breaks at the 3 year point. The brush I owned before this lasted 8 years. I was convinced Sonicare was an excellent product and gladly spent the money on the DiamondClean. I was upset when it began to misbehave, and on its last day was resigned to the fact that toothbrushes will only last about two to three years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Great product, powerful and easy to use. You can feel the difference right from the first use. After using it, you don't want to go back to a manual brush.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good product but failed 2 months after warranty expired Enjoyed the use of this toothbrush for just over 2 years. However, I would of thought that it would of lasted longer. Although, the battery is charged the switch will not turn on the brush anymore. I was expecting at least 4 years out of it. :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The toothbrush heads wear very quickly They are very expensive, some 70 or 80 plus taxes. The indicator suggests worn after one month of normal use, not 90 days. They also feel mushier. The price is such that one risks spending as much as a new brush per year just in toothbrush heads.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good while it lasts This toothbrush works well while it lasts, I'm assuming from all the good reviews it gets that the people writing them have only owned the brush for less then 2 years. I've owned four of these now and not one has lasted more then 2 years... in fact most have died after 18 months of use. Battery dies, toothbrush goes nuts and comes on by itself, doesn't charge or comes on when on the charger. After all of this happened with first 2 I was hoping it was just a fluke and I got a couple that were faulty... but after 4 of them having the same types of issues... it's definitely an issue with quality! DO not recommend this product.... save your money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do NOT BUY Hi, As much as I like the brush experience and the overall product, I cannot recommend it. We had now two times in a row, that the metal connector for the brush heads starts to loosen after approximately 1.5 years, which effectively renders the toothbrush useless. Philipps provided a replacement the first time, but not the second time. So even with regular use and care, this product becomes useless after around 3 years. That is disappointing and below my expectations of such a product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stopped working I bought a pink one from my dentist who recommended it. I have it an average rating because I loved the design & liked it while it worked, but mine too, has suddenly stopped working! Now back to my old manual brushes:(. Would like to replace it but cannot afford the steep price. Does philips stand by their products & replace faulty items???

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Made for two years only Just a good thing to know, as mentioned in many of the reviews here, it's made for 2 years of usage only (just to pass the warranty) and then it will break down. It's a good product but it's also good to know what your paying for.
