Honestly i was surprised by the definition, Its pretty good
The problem is the smart functions, there are lack of functions like the volume display or the chance to adjust colors, etc

This TV is great but there are very few apps available if you're not in the U.S.
The Wireless Connect does not support Windows 10 or devices for mirroring.
Picture quality is great and sound is pretty good for onboard speakers.
I'm glad I purchased this product. Love Philips

Most of the time if I'm using my product it will turn off or it'll crash on the app I'm on, it's also very slow at responding to my interactions

The picture is great. Netflix works well (except that the volume control disappears). But the list of apps advertised on the Canadian web site is a fiction. Only Netflix and YouTube are available. When I called I was told that if I were to take the TV to the US, I would see the apps. Of course, I like to cross the border every time I watch TV.
Software update over the network claimed that the software was current, even though I subsequently updated via USB. Makes me wonder what other "features" it has.
A little browsing (not on my TV of course) suggests that Philips Smart TV is a product for Europe, not North America.

We are loving this set. The easy access cable capabilities & one button online apps. Netflix, & many more apps available with one touch. I'm not real computer savvy so had a slight problem trying to make it pair with my old obsolete router but my teenager had it paired in just a minute. Just know we will be enjoying this set for years, and plan on purchasing a larger one soon. I will be buying another Philips.

My internet runs at 34.4MBPS; this "smart" TV has difficulty even finding the network, and when it does, it tests out at (max) 1.8MBPS, and most often at 1.0MBPS or LESS. I have used my laptop to check the network, placing it within 2 inches of the TV, front and back, and the laptop has no trouble hooking up at the full 34.4; so why does this supposedly network enabled TV speed-check at one-thirtieth (less than 4%) of full network speed? Either I've got a bad unit, or the network switcher inside the TV is just badly engineered.
