I only had Netflix and YouTube. The TV wouldn't allow me to download any other apps. My HDMI cords didn't work and I couldn't connect my laptop.

The TV get's hot there is a small crack in the screen and I tried to take it back to the store and was told I had to contact Phillips I called the number in the owner's manual and all there was was permotions Not happy

After reading reviews and researching many television brands, I decided to purchase a Philip 49" smart tv. It is an excellent product with many features such as ( loads of on apps on remote, net tv and direct access to the internet). The picture is good with an advance setting feature that can be used to adjust picture to meet your preference.
The speakers is very good for flat screen tv. Sound good enough that I am not going to purchase external speaker system.

Picture and sound are good. I was impressed with the very easy set up to have a beautiful picture to your preference. I like the thin bezel as well, give the TV a very modern look.

The only thing this tv is good for is the picture. I find all the apps on the tv useless, mainly because they do not work about 80% of the time. What is the purpose of having a smart tv if the apps don't work. The sound quality is all jacked up, I have tried to adjust it in every way possible and got nowhere with it. You might as well not even try calling costumer support they are not much help either, they just say it's probably something to do with your internet providers, and the apps are limited on what they can do. Yes I did buy this t.v. brand new out of the box. And I did buy it from target, because it makes a diffence on where it is purchased, why I have no idea.

Purchased the TV mostly based on advertised sound quality, it proved to be true. Set up was easy with good picture quality.

The TV itself has nice colors, sound, experience, but going in you should not think of this as a "smart TV". It has a very lacking platform with no access to adding channels, even the most popular, like Hulu Plus, Amazon Prime, HBO Go, etc. Just compare this to other " non-web" TV for specs and price, and if you buy it, pair it with the most recent Roku model, because the NetTV interface is worthless.
