This device provides extremely little feedback to the user about why it is unable to connect to a WiFi network. I've reconfigured it multiple times to connect to my 802.11G network with no success. Quite a miserable experience.

Bought this from an online retailer for a great price.
Long story short, I was able to get this to connect to my wifi ONCE and then only for a few days.
After that it refuses to connect, refuses to reset and won't even play music via USB
And since I'm not supposed to mention support. I won't. But... This is the last Phillips product I will ever buy.

I've had the ring for two years now. Set up was a nightmare but once connected it was great. Love the sound coming from front and back. Perfect for my placement. About a month ago the ring disconnected from my network and will not connect. Have gone through set-up 5 times now (10 minutes each time) and I have other things to do with my Christmas day.

doesn´t works with airplay, or without. the bluetooth products works better than tha t airplay!

The sounding looks amazing - unfortunately it won't play music,
! When it does connect via AirPlay the sound cuts out constantly.

I bought this speaker amazed by design and tech specs. Out of the box the basic instalation was smooth. Just plug it and punch next, next, next and voila!.
But later the speaker it's unmanageable. It's has issues with the battery charger, it's has no way to change an annoying feature... it goes to sleep mode even in the middle of a song. The manual it's not helpful, I've downloaded a couple of apps to no avail.

How cool to take the Fidelio sound ring out of the box. Visually stunning, beautiful design. Unfortunately it appears that's where the engineering stopped. The sound quality is good enough, but the problem is getting it to work. After the first time connecting to my network and iPhone (4S and 5) Air Play, it never connected wirelessly again. Further, every once in a blue moon I am able to get the speaker to play music from my iPhone via iPhone cable, but I never really know when it will or won't. Very tempermental.
This product is a very expensive doorstop. Complete piece of garbage. Philips used to make good electronics, but I will never buy a Philips audio product again.
