I love that this is cordless and very light. It is so easy to use. Setup is a breeze - there are 2 'combs' that attach quickly. One is for beards and the other for longer hair. The combs slide into place quickly and I can rotate the dial from 1 to 23 to set the length of hair I want to remain after the trimming. There's plenty of power and when the battery runs down I run it plugged in.
The blades are very sharp. They make trimming feel like a knife going through warm butter. I like that they don't get hot. With the comb in place, the metal of the blade doesn't even touch me, anyway. The blades pop off very easily for clean up.
I used this to trim my sideburns and I'm very happy. I also did some 'manscaping' and it worked well.
Compared to other trimmers this is very light and much easier to use. I only have to use the one comb and adjust the length on the handle as opposed to having a dozen or so combs to keep track of.
The plastic case is handy but it is a bit flimsy. There's a recycled cardboard insert that holds the pieces in their spots but this is not going to hold up. There should have been something more permanent used for this.
I received this product in exchange for a review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nouman Excellent product
My old (no name) clipper/trimmer died on me so bought this one.. Primary uses are zero cut on head and trimming of beard. This is more than adequate for both tasks.
Bought it on 20%off deal in Walmart. Very light weight and surprisingly quiet. Battery hold charge comfortably for more than an hour usage.. and the good thing is, it works on main or battery power.. both. My other Philips only works on battery, however that is still running strong for past 9 years.

Rated 1 out of 5 by RDTravis The worst trimmer i have ever owned! Do not buy!
Starting off it is kinda clummsy to hold and you end up bumping the buttons when you are trying to shave. Very uncomfortable to use.
But the real fun is when you see what it does to your hair. It will completely wreck it!. It left my hair waivy and all different length. You can not get it to trim all the same length. It is some kimd of design flaw. I had to cut everything really short with my old trimmer to fix it. Funny thing is i never had any trouble with any of my old trimmers all of which cost $30 or less and were not philips brand...Definitely switching back...
