This machine started out great, but only lasted 2.5 years. We faithfully followed the directions with weekly cleanings and monthly descaling. We had various issues with lights coming on and the espresso button would not put out the correct amount water after numerous re-settings, even with the help of the Support Service rep. My last call to Service Support Center the rep said it sounded like something was broken with the machine. He recommended sending it to a repair service center There are no local service repair centers in our State so would have to pay for shipping to get repaired if repairable out of State. At this point it is not worth trying to repair since it may not be repairable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MrArturo Brews great ecpresso, but the decalcification cycle is prone to failure (machine locks up).
I enjoy the machine- great espresso with rich espresso cream. the decalcification cycle is problem prone and the machine frequently locks up during this cycle.

I have had a saeco for 10 years, it made great coffee but was a little tough to maintain with a lot of difficult cleaning that had to be done regularly This makes INCREDIBILE coffee and they have redesigned the entire machine so that it makes it easy to maintain Worth every $! Buy it

I previously owned a Seaco Vienna which was a far superior machine.
When it came time to replace the Vienna my financial constraints did not allow for a comparable machine.
The Intuita was my second choice. I had no problems for the first 10 months of use. After that there seems to be some glichy small problems arising . The issues I've had have been easily resolved with a call to Phillips. However, I would have preferred to NOT call and find the help online or in the instructions. The call centre staff has been helpful and polite but the coffee machine division of Phillips does not answer calls on the weekend. Guess when both problems occurred.
The Intuita is a fine machine and performs as advertised. Phillips could improve its user manuals and online help.

Rated 2 out of 5 by 33446 Routine mediocrity or even less in espresso product. Flimsy construction. NO possiblity of adjusting the output beyond simple light, medium or dark.
The electronics are frequently 'whimsical' because they produce results which are unscheduled or are far off requested output strength. Over limitation of capacity without possibility of adjustment. Not a reliable machine from construction or even electronic design (computer programming) a considerable failure in this age of apps.
Saeco has a grievous failure in this approach to an espresso model. Further, for the first time in the many years of my life has a machine failed to function for the guaranteed period of one year, such as the Intuita

Rated 5 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer This machine makes great great coffee!!
This makes really great coffee better than a Coffee maker I have that was twice the price. Easy to use and clean on a daily weekly and monthly basis if you read all the instructions ( which is worth it ) if you enjoy your espresso or latte with great taste... A few days and the perfect cup of coffee...

I love my machine. Its ease of use and the versitality of it. The only thing I would like to see improved is a way to make the expresso stronger.
