Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheron2 Perfect for my iPods
I don't use this as a clock radio, only to play music from my iPods. It's very versatile, because I have 2 iPods, one older model and a newer one as well. I can play both through this product and the sound quality is very good for such as small unit. I really like this unit and thank my granddaughter for buying it for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mudd Great Performance - hard to figure out
We've had a number of other Philips home products like this and all perform well and are reasonably priced. We picked this one as an attractive small alarm clock with multiple audio sources (FM, bluetooth, & line input). Overall, it looks nice, sounds great, and the FM reception is very good (we're a long way from FM antennas). The only hard part was figuring out the directions as they were very choppy. Tuning the FM stations (if you don't want to simply go with the auto set that actually works well) is especially quirky. To tune to FM manually, you can only do that when setting presets, so let the auto do all the presets and then go back into preset mode to add or change any and that will make setup much easier. We stream a lot of our radio listening through the internet anyway. Overall, if you want an attractive & nice sounding small clock with multiple input sources, then this is a great product. If you're someone that wants to be able to tune to FM stations manually often and not use the presets, probably look somewhere else. Enjoy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by HickoryDickory Good Product, NOT User-friendly
All in all, a good product with high quality sound coming from the speakers. The display of the time is also very bright and can been seen in any lighting or darkness. However, the directions (the leaflet in the box) are all diagrams and are difficult to follow. The clock manual (which is available on the Philips website) has incorrect directions for setting the alarm! Not good! You definitely need well-written directions because the product is not intuitive.

I plugged this in and it worked - set it, set the alarm, no problem... THEN IT STOPPED WORKING AND WOULD NOT POWER BACK ON, NO MATTER WHAT I DID. I finally unplugged it and let it sit overnight (planning to return it the next day). I plugged it back in (one last attempt before returning it) and it turned on... A few weeks went by, and, AGAIN, it STOPPED WORKING. No rationale. THESE THINGS HAVE POWER ISSUES - DO NOT BUY!

Worst alarm clock I have ever owned. Very difficult to program and to change. Buttons are extremely hard to push when setting everything up and when waking up to the alarm in the morning, cannot tell where snooze button or powered button is just upon feel. Terrible directions for use and set up. Cannot set radio stations, upon trying it was time consuming and frustrating and ultimatly did not work, all my time and programming that i thought was correct ended up not working at all. I am very disappointed with this product and will never buy another Philips alarm clock or recommend it to anyone. It's a shame because I love their dental products but once again am very upset about this alarm clock.
