Rated 5 out of 5 by hithirdwavedust Excellent design. Way ahead of it's time. Ideal sound, shape, weight and feel.
This little speaker is THE BEST design of it's class for several reasons. It's shape, size and performance are all unexpectedly better than competing designs.
I would like to see this SBT10 concept remain in development and on the market. Here's why:
The SBT10 fits more easily and comfortably in a pocket or in your hand than cylindrical or spherical portable speakers do.
More importantly the shape of the SBT10 accommodates the featured "wOOx loudspeaker Technology". This allows the SBT10 to provide a bigger and better sound... and here's the part that makes is sound like magic... it does so using a lower powered amplifier and speaker (which means it weighs less and gets better battery performance) Essentially, better acoustic design causes the SBT10 to out-perform other higher powered, larger portable speaker units.
Similar technologies have been around for decades, but this is the first time I've seen the sort of design applied to a tiny portable bluetooth speaker. (I tried a number of them, did my research)
It's very easy to use, battery lasts a very long time. An integrated microphone which allows you to use the SBT10 for telephone calls. I didn't really see sense in that to begin with, however I quickly realized that it makes having conversations in very loud environments possible. Additionally, phone battery life is dramatically better when the phone is not using it's built in speaker :)
My SBT10 is orange. the bright color is very convenient and easy to find
I've used it about a month now and I'm much more impressed with the SBT10 than I expected.
I would hate to see this product disappear just because it doesn't look like the current fad for portable speakers. It would also be unfortunate if this sort of technology never takes off just because a having smaller speaker makes it hard to believe that it's louder and prettier sounding.
Now to be fair, there are some interesting issues which could use some work, so please look at the list of cons that I would like to see ironed out!
The the obnoxious thing about the SBT10 is that every time it connects or disconnects via bluetooth it makes a very interesting and absurdly loud notification sound. (much, much louder than the SBT30) This I find inconvenient, mostly because if I want to listen to something quietly, (yes, I do sometimes want to listen quietly!) I have to hear a REALLY LOUD sound before and after. At a normal volume, like the SBT30, it is a cute, friendly sound. (imagine a computer saying "wOOxwOOx!") the same sound at a much higher (and as far as I can tell unchangeable) volume with the wOOx Technology is very powerful and extremely weird.
It will produce so much bass and weighs so little that at high volume the whole unit will skitter around on flat surfaces producing unwanted noise. I also am concerned that it might vibrate right off the edge of my desk.
I would like the ability to it along with other units on the same bluetooth connection. Maybe that's sometime in the near future.
Some of the competing designs had slightly cleaner sounds with monophonic music (single sound not single channel) and had a more directed sound output which can be good and bad.
Over all The SBT10 is the best.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer I like it!
This little speaker delivers good quality sound and is impressive for its price-point. I had a bit of difficulty reading the tiny print of the included manual, but found the online PDF from this site very helpful.
I purchased this device to pair with my Samsung Tab3. It connected with ease and once I selected the option to use the speaker for media sound I was able to watch my streaming videos with much better audio. It took me a minute to figure out that the volume is not controlled on the speaker at all, but that's me being not very tech savvy.
I most likely won't be using the phone speaker/mic features. The pause/play button does control the video I'm watching on my Tab though, so that's nice.
In short, once charged, after a few minutes of fiddling it was a pleasant plug and play addition. I'm happy it works with my Android devices!

My son really wanted a small wireless speaker to pair with his iPod for his birthday. We open this speaker, wait 2 hours for it to charge….and nothing. We read through the "trouble shooting" tips. They're a joke. Now he's crying. Thanks for ruining his birthday.

I have been unable to sync this product to my iPhone after only one month of use. While it was working, I was extremely satisfied with its performance. I have been unable to discover why it will no longer sync to my phone. Frustrating!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sauny still trying to figure it out
I love the sound thus far, easy to use. Though it makes this loud beep beep sound when I turn it off and on & when I get calls, still have to figure it out, (the sound adjustments) have to read the on line manual. Other than that very easy to use. I love it more then I thought I would!
