Although its easy to use and cute and my son loves it, it is constantly leaking milk all over him and my house. I have tried all the tricks but this cup is not leak proof.

I got these cups as a free sample, and just at the right time, because I was just starting to introduce my 11-month-old to drinking from a cup. He was exclusively breastfed, and never really took a bottle well, so cups have been a challenge.
I really appreciate the valve inside the cup, which keeps it from leaking and spilling when he throws the cup for the 8 millionth time. However, he seemed to find the valve frustrating, so I removed it temporarily to help him figure out how the cup works. He was also frustrated by the hard spout; I think it would be better if it were a bit softer. Eventually we gave up and moved to disposable sippy cups for learning to drink, but I think these will be great once he figures everything out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AReyes86 Great starter sippy!
I was given the opportunity to test and review the My Penguin Sippy Cup with my 11 month old. He`s had some difficulty with sippy cups in the past but this set offers handles and a smooth design that I think help mimic the bottle. This was an easy transition for him. The handles are a soft but firm plastic, which made it easy for him to control himself. I like the fact that the cups are see through, allowing me to see exactly what is in it before I hand it to him. I also really appreciate the ounces shown on the side, much like a bottle. It assures me that I am giving him the amount I want and not just eyeballing it. I found it to be easy to clean as well. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to transition their baby from a bottle or breast to a sippy cup!

Rated 5 out of 5 by HollyN Surprisingly durable and very cute!
I received this item for free in exchange for submitting a review. These are probably the cutest sippy cups that I`ve seen. I love the little handles, they make it easy for little ones to grip. They are a good size too, not too small and not too large. I found them really easy to keep clean, a good wash in hot soapy water worked great. I also ran them through my dishwasher. The colors and design did not fade after several uses. It was pretty much spill-proof. My little one has started shaking sippy cups upside down, so you get a sprinkle or two. Not bad. Dropped one on the side walk on the way to our car and other than getting dirty, it was fine. Very durable. I highly recommend them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TarinL Great cup- bland design
I received a free sample of this cup to review. Overall, I liked it and it seemed like my kids (ages 2 and 15 months) liked it fine. My favorite thing about it is how it easy it was to clean. I didn't have leaking issues either- which was a huge plus for me because my kids leave their sippy cups all over the place and in all kinds of positions. It even withstood being thrown by toddler tantrum. My only complaint, which I know sounds superficial, is that it's not very cute or fun. I usually prefer brighter colors with more bold/fun/colorful designs. So to recap- it's great but bland cup.

I received these cups for free in exchange for my review. Overall, I have been impressed. The penguin design is adorable for boys and girls. They are a good size and seem to be very durable. The handles make use easy even sippy cup beginners. They are extremely easy to put together and stay together. I love the top cover for traveling and best of all no leaks. My little one and I have been very pleased.

I received these sippy cups as free samples to review. I was impressed with these sippy cups. After trying them out, I would say they are good enough where I would have bought them in the store. In looking for the right sippy cup I look for #1-durability/life and #2-leak/spill proof capabilities. These sippy cups were up there! The way the valve system is set up and the fact that the rest is a hard plastic, these sippy cups should last for the long haul! You don`t need to worry about bite marks or any silicone that`s going to get broke through. The silicone valve on the inside so super easy to take out and put back in, which means is super easy to use and with only 3 pieces in the whole unit, washing is very easy! It seems to be reasonably leak and spill proof. When I turn it upside down and around, nothing comes out. However, when my daughter is in her high chair and throws it on the ground, a few drops will come out- but it`s hard to find any sippy cup that will not do that. The handles are convenient- but for some cup holders, they may get in the way. Sippy cup fits in to most cup holders, but not all. Ideally I would have liked it just a touch skinnier so it would fit in all cup holders. The spout is off to one side, but LO has no problem drinking from the wrong side and still gets milk/water.

Rated 4 out of 5 by KJ27 Excellent cup for babies transitioning from the bottle
I received the Philips sippy cups as a free sample in order to post a review of it. Upon receiving them I opened them and washed them and gave one to each of my girls, 16 months. I think it may have been more useful if they were younger and just beginning to hold their own cups, as they have been doing so for a while. For babies who are just starting to hold their own cups and drink water or other beverages, I think the cup is made great. The handles appear to be comfortable to the touch and there is a slight flow, but not too much coming from the spout. The spout protrudes quite a bit, so it could be compared to a bottle`s nipple and an excellent spout for transition. The cups are very study and have been dropped as the girls get bored with them or find something else to divert their attention. We had hard wood and stone flooring and the cups have yet to crack, so they are very well made. Overall my impression of the cups were pretty good, but my review would have been a little better had the cups been a little more age appropriate. They are for up to 18 months, however I think most babies may outgrow it by 12 months.
