Cable material could be better and the cable could be a little longer. The sound is reallllllly good I was pleasantly surprised since they're so affordable. Also, in-line controls are always nice and so cheap to add, come on PHILLIPS!!!
Durable and comfy.
Recommended if you want good budget sound with no bells or whistles.

Had to post this positive review on these fantastic in ear phones!
First all I'm devastated I used these about a year now one sides is disabled due to massive and continuous trauma to the phones( my destructive 7 yr Old) one side finally stopped working from him consistently yanking on it. But hey, he's the Worst on headphones and usually destroys head sets in in a week. He had them for a few months and they were still working fine until just recently! Take nothing away from Phillips, this was the ultimate "crash dummy test"! This is a great testament to the durablity of the sleek compact design and thin wires. The sound on these babies are Fantastic. Wide range. Deep rich highs and lows. Bass is so rich you'd think your were wearing some really expensive aviator type head phones. I love Jazz and Epic Motion Picture Music as well as Urban Beats and I have literally gone through 13 pears of headsets and Earbuds to find these jems. I feel like I'm in a concert theater with these. I can't say enough about the amazing sound of these things. I wear them ALL the time and what I love is they are compact and stealth so people hardly notice I'm wearing them, some are offended by the Big Aviator's and tend to ignore you.
I never post reviews but I love these so much I had to share.
I hate that I'll have to break down and buy another pair of these but I'm terrified of running through another 13 pair to find one, they are Still the most durable pair of in ear buds I've ever owned because i'm very rough on them from constant use and no other pair has sounded this good and has with stood my abuse for year.

I have been known to forget, drop, and outright lose things on a consistent basis...cell phones/accessories are a close second to keys. Having saud that, I've owned my share of ear buds and none of them ever lived up to expectations. Finally, I purchased a pair of Philips (not sure which model) and I immediately noticed two things 1. They seemed durable and well-produced and 2. they were comfortable. They also sounded great! After my now ex-gf ran them over, I purchased the SHE 8000 and absolutely loved them (past tense bc the ex has them). Not only were they comfortable to wear, but the housing was clearly very durable. Above all, the sound is perfect in my opinion. Good balance, noise isolation, excellent bass. I am about to purchase a second pair and came to the website to see if they're still available.

Great sounding earphones. I own the Philips SHE7000, Philips O'neill the tread and Philips Citiscape St. Germain, and the SHE8000's beat ALL OF THEM!! i'm not gonna make any comments about durability (since that i have used them for less than a month), but as far as my regular 7-10 hours usage of earphones and headphones, these are still working pretty great! I always trust philips brands and i own ALOT OF PRODUCTS from Philips, but no doubt about it, these earphones beat the tread, St. Germain, SHE7000, SHL5800 (headphone), SHL 5003 (Headphone)! no doubt about it, just trust in philips and it will definitely give you the best in quality. I'm an Audiophile, and i've owned ALOT of other brands.. but i can't describe them here.. but no doubt philips is the best in all of my earphones, and headphones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SomeoneWhoLikesHeadphones Great In-Ear Headphones with a fair price
Overall this in-ear headphones are great. The sounds and voice are very clear, very easy to use and very portable, has a very cool design, the bass and instrumentals of the music is not hard to be heard, could really reduce the noise from the outside, and has a very fair price for its features. I would really recommend this product.

This product is superb. I tested it through 30Hz to 20KHz of sine waves, and it performed really well (i can't hear lower than 30 Hz, and higher than 20 KHz). I played classical music, rock music, country music, pop music, and alternative music and I say I'm impressed. Also used it for gym workouts and jogging.
