Durable, Great Sound and No Tangles
The best version of in-ear headsets I've found is the Philips O'Neill Specked SHO9575BW/28:
• the cord never tangles,
• the audio quality is excellent for in-ear headsets,
• the remote controller works well with smartphones,
• the fit stays in my ear canal (3 sizes of rubber buds) and most of all,
• the cables and connectors are heavy duty enough to last.
Most of my in-ear headsets die when activity strains the cables and separates the wiring connection somewhere.
I've tried several earlier and later in-ear Philips headset models. They tangle easier and don't survive heavy outdoor activity as well.
Great outdoor headset, Philips!

SHO9575BW - are a superb master piece
These ear buds are the best sounding ear buds for the money. You don't really know what your missing in music until you get it playing out of a professional rig (which these are not) but for they've done its good.
Build and quality are great also. I've had mine through the washer a few times and they held up fine. I love the braided cord because its easy to untangle (if it even gets tangled). You have 3 options in fitment for sound isolation (which is great also).
Put your standard I-device ear buds away and listen to these. Phone conversation capable w\mic and external volume switch.
Only downside to any ear bud is falling out, but these stay in pretty darn good, especially if you get the right fitment.

This product breaks easily
I own a different pair of The Specked and they are great. But these have a volume slider on the cable which is too fragile or just plain defective. After two or three days of use, the sound only worked in one earbud, however, if you tapped or jostled the volume slider you could sometimes hear the second earbud turn on.
