Rated 5 out of 5 by Lloyd70 15 years and 18000 shots later!
Our machine is about 15 years old. Our shot counter now says over 18000 shots. We know there have been improvements along the way - but ours keeps going. We decalcify infrequently, use a water filter, have always used filtered water from our refrigerators (refrigerators don't last like a Saeco) AND regularly clean the brewing unit behind the dredge drawer. We have had bumps in the road but youtube abounds with fixes for this machine. We don't froth with our unit - we have never found it very useful.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SavvysGranny Worked great for 4 years
We replaced the seals a few times over the years and kept it descaled regularly.
Espresso and Lattes were good. I personally would have liked stronger espresso.
LOUD - NOISY!!!
After 4 years it quit making espresso, we followed everything we could find to clean and descale all the way through the flow meter. No luck. Nearest repair shop is 200 miles away.
I expect something that costs more than a dishwasher or stove to last as long as they would.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CarolB Sleek design and easy to clean
I have owned four other Saeco machines before ordering this one. I've never paid this much. I admit I am spoiled and want no other brand. I prefer to brew my own lattes and espressos.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LarryNC This machine exceeded my expectations....love it.
I've had my Incanto for 3 weeks now and it has performed flawlessly and makes excellent cappuccino. I moved up from a manual machine I had for 7 years and couldn't be more pleased. I found the operation of the Incanto to be uncomplicated and straightforward, despite having many controllable features. The grinder is much quieter than my old burr grinder and the milk frother works great every time. I especially like the ease with which the dregs can be emptied and the brewing unit can be cleaned.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Produces great coffee but has faults.
Produces the very best coffee ever and compares to my other machine of a different brand in all ways except design.
The front cover latch is pathetic and the front cover pops open at random and the coffee beans must be nudged into the hopper for grinding, the slot is too narrow to allow them to drop into the grinder on their own. The setup menu is also clunky and has to few options on temperature and flush settings. There is always substantial water in the tray even though I keep a cup under the spout. Leakage from within?

Rated 5 out of 5 by JungleJenny Makes great expresso and coffee!
I really like this epresso maker. It took some reading to get all the settigns just right, but now it works well. I like the self cleaning it does before it makes a cup of expresso. The one thing I do not like though, is how you cannot put a big mug under the spout. It has to be a small sized cup or you cannot remove it without spilling half your expresso. I wish they had just given it one more inch in height. So I have to brew a few small cups and transfer to my travel mug. But all in all I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Zebhead Replaced previous Saeco
Replaced previous Saeco which had quit making steam/hot water with the Incanto and like it much better. First it is much quieter; the old one sounded like a pile driver when tamping and the grinder was much louder. The only downside for this unit is the steam wand needs to be about an inch longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wolf41 The Saeco Incanto is a terrific espresso maker.
The Saeco Incanto makes great espresso. We regularly use the bean grinder portion but have also used the ground coffee alternative path. Both produce espresso quickly and with great taste. It is easy to adjust the strength as well as program the size of the espresso. We appreciate how easy it is to clean the dreg drawer. We also appreciate its excellent appearance.
