Troubleshooting

How do I trim my beard with Philips OneBlade?

The precision trimming comb on your OneBlade allows you to trim to different lengths. Start at the highest setting to first get some practice with your Oneblade.

How to trim with OneBlade

1) Place the comb onto the blade, with the teeth of the comb pointing upwards. Always trim in the direction of the teeth of the comb. This will give you the best results.

Note: If you have a OneBlade Pro, turn the hair length setting wheel to select the desired hair length setting. The settings on the wheel correspond to the hair lengths in millimeters.

2) Switch on the appliance.

3) Place the comb onto the skin and move the appliance in the direction of the teeth of the comb.

Note: For the best result, move it against the grain.

4) Switch off and clean the appliance after every use.

5) To remove the comb, hold it on both sides and pull it off the blade.

Trimming with OneBlade

A few points to consider

  • Always trim in the direction of the comb teeth and make sure that the flat part of the comb is in full contact with the skin for an even trimming result.

  • Since hair grows in different directions, you need to vary your hold on OneBlade as well. However, always make sure that you move it upwards against the grain.

  • Trimming is easier when your skin and hair are dry.
