Troubleshooting

I cannot connect my GranBaristo Avanti with the app.

If you cannot connect your Saeco GranBaristo Avanti with the app, please check the following on your espresso machine and tablet/mobile.

Machine check

  1. If you use the machine for the first time: Make sure you first have performed the steps of 'using the machine for the first time' before setting up the Bluetooth connection
  2. Make sure the machine is turned ON and not in standby. The “Saeco Logo” is visible
  3. Make sure the Bluetooth setting on the machine is enabled. Bluetooth enabled is the default setting. The setting can be changed in the menu of the coffee machine
  4. Check if the machine is connected to another tablet. Only one tablet can be connected to the machine at a time

Tablet / Mobile check

  1. Make sure you have the latest software version of the app installed
  2. Make sure you use a device on which the app can be used.
  3. Make sure the Bluetooth setting on the tablet / mobile device is enabled
  4. Make sure the machine is not out of range. The maximum range is 5 meters. Close the app, move closer to the machine and open the app again
  5. Make sure that there is no interference with any other wireless devices or any electronic devices which might be close

If you are still unable to make a connection, please follow the steps below

Sometimes the Bluetooth module in the machine becomes non-discoverable. This can be fixed by switching off-on the machine with at least a 15 seconds pause in between and try again to establish a connection.

  1. Close the app
  2. Turn OFF the machine
  3. Wait at least 15 seconds and turn the machine back ON
  4. Wait until the machine is ready for use and the Saeco Logo is visible
  5. Re-open the app and try to establish a connection

If this does not work either, remove the app from your tablet and then reinstall it.
When you have reinstalled the app, please try to make a connection again.
