For Apple devices with a 30-pin connector
- iPhone 4S and below
- iPad 2 and below
Option 1:
- Connect the optional iPhone cable (PPA1280).
- Switch the PicoPix on.
- Select the “source” function in the Menu.
To view Photos:
- Start the Photos App.
- Select your album or any photo.
- Start the slideshow.
Important: When the slideshow is not running nothing will be projected.
To watch a video:
- Movies have to be stored in the APP via iTunes.
- Connect your PicoPix to your iPhone.
- Start the video APP - iPod or CineXPlayer (for DIVX).
- Select your video and start it.
- The movie will be projected.
Option 2:
You can connect your Apple device to the PicoPix using an HDMI to 30-pin adapter and a standard mini HDMI to HDMI cable.
Connect the 30-pin connection to your Apple device and the HDMI cable to the HDMI adapter. Then connect the mini HDMI end to the PicoPix Projector. Select the “HDMI” source in the PicoPix menu.
Screen mirroring will start automatically.
Option 3:
You can connect your Apple device to the PicoPix using a VGA to 30-pin adapter and an optional PPA1250 cable
Connect the 30-pin connection to your Apple device and the VGA cable to the VGA adapter. Then connect the mini HDMI end to the PicoPix Projector. Select the “VGA” source in the PicoPix menu.
Screen mirroring will start automatically
For Apple devices with lightning connectors
- iPhone 5
- iPhone 6
- iPad mini
- iPad 4
- iPad mini Retina
- iPad Air
Option 1:
You need an Apple lightning to VGA adapter and an optional VGA cable PPA1250.
- Connect the adapter to your Apple device.
- Connect the VGA cable 1250 to the adapter and to your PicoPix.
- Select “VGA” in the source menu of your PicoPix.
- Screen mirroring will start automatically.
Option 2:
You need an Apple lightning to HDMI adapter and a standard HDMI/mini HDMI cable.
- Connect the adapter to your Apple device.
- Connect the HDMI/mini HDMI to the adapter and to your PicoPix.
- Select “HDMI” in the source menu of your PicoPix.
- Screen mirroring will start automatically.
