Does my Philips Streamium support Window Vista?

    Published on 2017-02-28

As you may experience partial functionality when using the Windows Vista Operating System with your Philips Device, it is advised to install Windows Vista in a dual boot configuration.

To use the Wireless Audio Device Manager (WADM) under Window Vista, you are advised to upgrade WADM to v1.7. For PMM (use under the uPnP application), you would need to select Windows XP compatibility mode.

Is my player compatible with Windows Media Player 11 under Windows Vista?

The device is not fully compatible with Windows Media Player 11 under Windows Vista. You are strongly recommended to use the software provided by Philips to make sure all features of the device can be available.

When using WMP 11 as a uPnP server, like any other uPnP server (which is uPnP compliant), you can assess and play your tracks from the PC but certain features may not be supported.

The information on this page applies to the following models: WACS700/37 .
