What disc and file types does my Philips player support?

Your player supports DVDs, VCDs, SVCDs audio CDs, CDs with MP3, WMA, and JPEG files, as well as DivX discs.

Notes:

  • The DivX media format is one of the MPEG4codecs. Before you can playback MPEG4 files on this device, you need to convert them to DivX files with the .avi file extension. You can find a wide array of video conversion tools on the internet to assist you with these types of conversions.

  • JPEG images can have a maximum size of 3072 x 2048 for baseline/2800000 for progressive. The player only supports JPEG pictures in standard or progressive format.

  • Your player does not support any other digital audio formats, such as liquid audio, RM (RealMedia), WAV and MP4 or non-audio files, such as .doc, .txt or .pdf files
