Great anti-colic baby bottleI received these Philips Avent Anti-colic Bottles as a gift. I am so pleased with these bottles!
The box included 3 9oz wide mouth bottles with 1 month+ nipples. I had used other brands of anti-colic bottles but really did not like all the extra pieces I had to wash. What I love about these bottles is the simplicity of 3 parts! All you have is a nipple, bottle ring and the bottle itself. Even though there are only 3 parts my baby has never had a gas issue due to the Airflex venting system that reduces air ingestion. This has greatly helped reduce baby fussiness especially during night feedings. The wide mouth design and large nipple surface makes hand washing a breeze. These also clean great in the top rack of a dishwasher. If you use formula the wide mouth bottle design would make mixing easy to do as well. These bottles have never leaked on me unlike other brands I have tried. It is easy to buy larger nipple sizes for this brand, I see them at all stores that sell baby bottle parts. I feel the wide bottle design and nipple shape makes this a great bottle to use with a breastfed baby as they can easily grab a hold of the bottle to help support it and the nipple does not collapse due to its ribbed design.
I would highly recommend the Philips Avent Anti-colic bottle to all moms and will be giving these as baby shower gifts to my friends.
I received this product as a gift from the weeSpring parent Panel to trial and provide my honest feedback.

Easy to clean, but heavy.*Note: I received this product as a gift from the weeSpring Parent Panel in exchange for my honest review.*
These bottles get the job done, but here are a few pros and cons that we found when our little one used them.
First of all, the blue color may not be for everyone. If you want to use them for multiple children and are picky about a girl using a blue bottle, I would stick with the clear version.
The size was rather large, especially for a breastfed baby who doesn't eat that much in one sitting. The large size might lead to over feeding, and when the bottle was full, it was too heavy for my 7 month old to hold. If you are formula feeding and need a larger size, this might not be an issue though.
It seemed like the venting wasn't working as well as it should and bubbles would exit the nipple after the baby stopped sucking. This vent system doesn't seem like it works as well as some other brands, but we would have to try it more often to really see if it made a difference with fussiness.
The blue color might help differentiate your bottles from others in a day care setting.
I love that it is only three parts (plus the cap), which makes it really easy to clear.
Overall, a pretty good bottle, just not the first one I would reach for. I like our smaller Avent bottles better.

These are my husband’s favorite bottles! We received these Avent bottles as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel, and are in love. I breastfeed, but my two month old is a lazy eater so we supplement with formula, which has exacerbated his colic. Within 24 hours of switching to these bottles, he went from needing to be held and patted constantly, to being able to sit in his swing and take in his surroundings.
We've used several different colic bottles and these blew them out of the water. Firstly, there is no extra parts that require their own cleaning utensil in order to be sterile, just bottle, nipple, and ring. It definitely takes away some stress not having to search for extra bottle parts when you have a screaming infant shattering your nerves. Secondly, you actually see the air returning to the bottle away from the baby. After the feeding there is usually a significant amount of foam left in the bottle that didn’t end up in their tummy. (I tried to get a picture but my camera wouldn’t capture it)
Since I do breastfeed, I wish that they made the nipple in their wider shaped style that causes less nipple confusion. I have noticed a slight change in his latch after drinking from one, but not enough to discontinue using them. I also wish that the sample that I received had been the low flow nipple, although I have noticed he dribbles less with these bottles than the others we have tried with him. My only other complain is personal preference, we are trying to move away from using plastic, so we would have been happier if they came in silicone, glass, or metal, but that is just us being hippies.
All in all, the moments of peace that we have experienced with the help of these bottles make them a real find, and will definitely be purchasing more once these wear out.

Great Anti-Colic BottleI got a chance to try these bottles as a part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I have been using them for a few weeks and I really like them. The best feature is that they are anti-colic but there's only 3 pieces per bottle which cuts down a lot of time washing bottles. The wide neck bottle also makes cleaning them a breeze. My son took to the nipple of this bottle easily and it does not collapse during the feeding. I did think the nipple flow was a bit fast for him even though he is past the recommended 1 month+ age. He also did not spit up or fuss after the feedings so the airflex venting system features of this bottle seem to be working. I did not experience any leakage which is also a big plus. Overall I would highly recommend this bottle as it has anti-colic features plus the simple design makes it easy to clean. #weespringparentpanel #weeSpring #PhilipsAvent

Great design but nipple flow is too fastI was able to try these products through the weeSpring Parent Panel and received the level 2 nipples for age 1m+. However, the flow for these nipples were too fast for my 2.5 month old - milk would always leak out of the side of his mouth. So I took 1 star off my review for that, since the nipples are advertised as 1m+.
However, the bottles overall are well designed. As my son was feeding, I could hear the air venting through the collar and underside of the nipple, and could see the little bubbles appearing inside the bottle. So it seems like the bottle does in fact perform as it is designed. I also really like that the bottle only has 4 parts total - bottle, collar ring, nipple, lid - as it makes for easy cleaning an assembling.
Overall I would recommend this product, but warn that the nipples may not be appropriate for the ages advertised.

easy to use for breastfed babyFirst, a disclaimer: I received these bottles as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel.
My 5 mo is exclusively breastfed and has taken to these bottles like a pro. Baby is pretty easygoing with the bottle business, and we switch between these bottles, a few other kinds of bottles, and breast with no problem.
These bottles are the easiest to clean of all of the bottles we've tried. The wide neck, the lack of small, narrow parts, and the lack of an inside "ridge" is what makes them so great for cleaning.
I'm not a fan of the lids for the bottles, as they are hard to grasp and pull off. If your hands are wet, then forget it - too slippery! Also, the nipple flow could be slower. The bottles are also quite wide -- not great for small hands or for taking them for travel in bags.

This bottle is great for fussy babies! We have a four month old, and she's (luckily) been very good about switching from breast to bottle and back. We were using another bottle before this, but she still seemed fussy after eating from the bottle for a few minutes, so we were eager to try something else. Luckily, we received these from the weeSpring Parent Panel!
You can almost see the air going back into the bottle and away from the nipple as the baby eats. We don't use bottles too often, but any time baby was home alone with Dad, I didn't worry if baby would eat enough- she gulped it all down!
Only downside is that even the slow flow nipples seem to go a bit too fast. She has bad reflux, and the milk would flow out too fast and she would start choking/throwing up if we didn't pull it out every so often.

finally a bottle my baby likes! My baby is 6 months old and eats like a bird. She still only takes a newborn or 0 flow nipple! We have spent so much money trying every bottle brand, different shapes and size nipples, etc. and she dribbles and gags when we increase the nipple flow size to a 1. She eats exclusively breast milk so maybe she's just used to a slow flow from mom, I don't know? So I was skeptical to try this new bottle but to my shock she actually drank 4 oz without spilling or gagging on the first try! THANK GOODNESS! Bottle feedings were taking easily 15 minutes for 3 oz and she drank this one in under 5. YAY! Thank you weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this bottle, it's a gamechanger!
