While many of us worked from home, people like Charmae ​​worked harder than ever. At the Philips manufacturing facility in Murrysville, Pennsylvania, Charmae ​​works on the production line where Trilogy EVO fans are assembled, tested and packaged. She has been very dedicated to her work for the past 14 years and the global pandemic has only made her invest more in the work she does.

Even in these troubled times, Charmae ​​and her colleagues continue to work tirelessly and fearlessly to manufacture, test and distribute life-saving medical equipment to those in need. Kadir, a father of five, has been working non-stop since the crisis started. As a systems engineer at Philips Refurbished Systems in Best, Kadir and his colleagues work in a large factory that produces CT scanners. These scanners allow doctors to quickly take pictures of people's lungs to determine whether or not they have the coronavirus.

It normally takes about six weeks to refurbish one scanner. Now, after much dedication and many hours of work, it only takes two weeks.

"That is the work of me and my colleagues. I am quite proud of that. We have all worked very hard."

While it was difficult for his children to understand exactly what their father is doing, they know their father has an important job and Kadir is very proud of how they deal with it. His commitment to helping others makes Kadir a hero.
