LCD TV

Bought in 2009 still using and aside from the relative heaviness compared to 2023 tvs its still a perfect tv. Just now starting to have very slight picture and audio issues.

Mine is 2009 and as I write this it’s Oct. 2021. The pic and clarity is still amazing. The only issue I have is the remote won’t work with the tv. But for an ‘09 and how amazing the pic and colors are I refuse to get rid of it. I plan on dying with this thing. The ‘09 has seen many GFs, and now a wife and kids.

This tv has been a tank. A lightning strike took out one HDMI port and the surge protector about ten years ago and little man through a toy at it that appears to have fused some pixels together. Now there is one white dot centered in the lower third of the screen. A ten year old TV that gets used and abused everyday and still keeps chugging along. Worth every penny I paid for it. Just bought an 8k so Phil is getting move to the bullpen. I hope the 8k is as durable as Phil.

I bought this 8 years ago when LCDs were the new hot thing and this just came out. I have clocked thousands of hours of hi def game play from Xbox 360,Xbox One, and PC. This thing has never let me down. It got the black screen 1 year ago but all i needed to do was the firmware update with a usb (took 10 min at home) and it worked perfectly again. I am still clocking game time on this and will be looking into Philips again if this ever dies but 8 years and no issues i think i will be selling this WORKING to upgrade to a new LED. Great work Philips for years of enjoyment.

I love this tv....cant say anything but it is a great tv that was built well! It has outlasted my marriage!

I Love, Love, Love, my TV. I've been a Phillips fan and consumer since, I was old enough to purchase on my own. I'm looking for the next big thing in Phillips electronics.

Of all the tvs i have owned this is by far the best in picture and design. I just love it.

We didn't know much about flat screen TVs, but had to replace an old conventional TV that finally bit the dust. My son encouraged us to go with Vizio. He had just purchased the Vizio and felt it was the best. We shopped around quite a bit and purchased the Philips based upon the quality of the picture compared to the other sets, especially Vizio. After 18 months our Philips is performing beautifully. My son has had his Vizio returned twice for major repairs within the same timeframe. We opted for HD service with our provider. The 47" Philips we have is absolutely outstanding.
