Most TVs have an aspect ratio of 16:9 (or 1.78:1) and a resolution of 1080p Full HD. Hollywood blockbusters, though, are usually filmed in 2.39:1 aspect ratio. I really wished they can sell more tvs like this and call them Cinemas TVS great for movies shot in the 2.35:1 format.

Sweet picture
This TV has a very nice picture that adjusts accordingly. My only knock on this TV is that it doesn't provide much control over the picture settings. There are a few canned settings that you can choose from, but beyond that, there is no granularity to the settings assistant.
