Still have this tv in daily use 14 years after I bought it, now connected to a sky tv box which gives it a ‘smart’ upgrade

HAVE HAD TV FOR 9YRS. AND IT STILL RUNS GREAT AND HAVE NO PROBLEMS

Purchased 5 years ago and I am very happy with this TV. Would purchase another Philips when that time comes because I am spoiled.

Great 1080p HDTV to play video games and watch movies.

no matter what action movie im watching, it looks like a video game and i love it.

I have received so much pleasure from my 42 inch HD television since purchase. The clarity of picture is remarkable. I watch many Netflix movies and am astounded with the quality of the films watced. Over all I am completely satisfied with my television viewing.

I purchase a different Phillips product about once every year and each year, each product continues to perform like the first year it was purchased. My Philishave, performs the same as the day I purchased it. Clean shave, never a nick, easy to clean, keeps the charge for shave after shave. Beats any other product I've tried over the years. You have a loyal follower. Keep making proven performers.......congratulations.

After some initial bugs, the LCD was repaired and has worked excellent since. With all the similar products out there I did not know what to expect. I am glad I purchased yours. The service was excellent and you should be proud.

It has a nice picture with good color gamut but the speaker on the TV vibrates in an annoying way on situations when the volume gets somewhat load (commercials).

Philips knows about the bad boards in these tvs, and chooses not to do anything about it. There are numerous complaints online, and they state that customer support sucks. This tv smoked up my whole house, burnt the stand it was on, ive had nothing but problems with this tv since day one. The sound would work but the picture would go out, i reallized that the cracklin sound i have been hearing was it acually sparking inside on board, when this would happen. While watching the tv, the picture went out, and like ive always done, i turned it off then back on, and it worked until sparks shot out the bottom and smoke poured out the top.
