Some other tv brands do not have the ability to change the Hdmi EDID output mode from 1.4 to 2.1 (2.0 on some older TV's for 60hrz) or force it into these modes. My other tv lacked the abitly to force my hdmi mode to 2.0 (its what it had), or somethung similar (selecting the hmdi mode option for 2.0 made no difference) after an issue with xbox not picking up on an EDID. With the option to force select Hmdi output modes and have it work the way it should... For now.. as the problem did reoccur again with this specific TV and my Xbox, but was easily fixed.. my old tv will not cooperate i wont be brand specific but it was not a philips tv (the one with the continued and existing problem "no 4k" For this model being discontinued.. i just bought the tv less than a week ago from a name brand retailer??? Might have to return it sooner than expected lol... hope the newer ones keep up to the standards.. will see!

I love the apps on the tv even though I’m a iPhone user it’s still great with the google home app and it’s so easy to set up

So far this tv is awesome. It's crystal clear & the sound is awesome on surround sound. It has everything u could ever want on it. I'm extremely happy & would recommend Phillips to others.

tv came with simple instructions, i have little experience with tech and i had it all up and running myself easily. i like how the tv keeps adapting to your preferences simplifying access to your programs everytime you start it up. for a basic tv clear picture and decent sound but you will need surround sound speakers if you want stereo sound for music etc..everything about this tv is user friendly and the only thing i have a mild issue with is that you will get ghosting if you leave you screen paused, etc.. for too long and so we always prime tv for example when we leave the room. over all i am happy with our purchase.

The TV will not work with our Rogers box. It keeps flashing on and off. I can’t figure out how to adjust the settings.

Thought I was getting a deal. But the TV is too old.

Terrible product, terrible customer support. TV was working fine no issues at all until installing an update sent out my Phillips. Immediately* following the update the TV would not turn on. Seems like forced obsolescence to me, forcing consumers to buy new products.
