Saeco OdeaSuper-automatic espresso machine

I bought this machine for my wife’s birthday 7 years ago and she uses it at least once a day, more when we have guests over for dinner. She cleans and maintains it fairly regularly and we have had no problems. Over the long run it has has saved us CDN$3 a day so it has more than payed for itself by now. Awesome machine and I would buy it again.

We loved this machine, at first. We've had it for 3.5 years. The first year was great made great coffee.( guessing that we purchased good coffee beans) We bring for maintenance every year so it can be cleaned. We had 3 major repairs that cost over $175.00 after the warranty. Now they say it is the electronic card that will cost $295 + Tax .This is a royal pain and frustrating. Thinking of replacing it.

We loved this machine, at first. We've had it for 2.5 years. The first year was great and we never would go back to our old coffee pot. But then the machine just started to shut off, for no reason. It completely powered off. We tried everything, check the plug, turn it off and on, empty and refill everything, etc. then it would magically start again. We took it in to be repaired and $200 later, no solution. It never shut off for the service people so they just thought it must be our power outlet. It worked fine for awhile and now it does it every morning. We've discovered the solution is to remove and reinsert the dreg drawer two or three times, then let it sit for 10-15 minutes before hitting the button. This is a royal pain when you want a coffee! We so badly want to replace it but it's cost prohibitive. So frustrating.

Like others, we really love the coffee this machine makes. We purchased the device 4 years ago and have twice paid $200 for repairs. We are giving up. Too expensive.

We have had our Saeco Odea for 3 years now, got it as a wedding gift in 2011. It makes the best coffee we've ever had at home, but now it has completely shut down, for the second time. The first time it cost us in excess of $200 to repair. This time we are throwing it out. I would never buy, or recommend this machine to anyone. Completely unreliable.
