I have forgotten my PIN code for my Philips TV. How can I reset it?
If you have not set your PIN-code when you first turn on the TV set, you will have to set your PIN-code before using the lock feature.
To set the PIN code for the first time:
- Press the 'MENU' button on the remote control.
- Press cursor up/down to select TV MENU and press cursor right.
- Press cursor up/down to select FEATURES and press cursor right.
- Press cursor up/down to select SET PIN and press cursor right.
- When the prompt PLEASE ENTER A 4-DIGIT PIN appears on the screen, enter an easily remembered new four-digit code and enter the new code the second time to confirm it.
- Press the 'MENU' button to exit the menu.
To change the PIN code if it is unknown or forgotten:
- Press the 'MENU' button on the remote control.
- Press cursor up/down to select TV MENU and press cursor right.
- Press cursor up/down to select FEATURES and press cursor right.
- Press cursor up/down to select CHANGE PIN and press cursor right.
- When the prompt PLEASE ENTER YOUR CURRENT PIN appears on the screen, enter the universal code 0711.
- Then enter an easily remembered new four-digit code and enter the new code the second time to confirm it.
- Press the 'MENU' button to exit the menu.
