5000 series Android TV

Hello friends, I want to leave my opinion about this product, This television is very good, I do not understand why it does not have a good rating, When I bought it, It came with the android 8 version, Then a few months later I had an update notification, To Android 9, Here is a big problem, The bluetooth was disconnected, No connection. But thanks to this new update! Everything went back to running smoothly, Thanks Phillip for fixing the problem that your update caused.

It has all the inputs and outputs that I needed. Along with a price and great picture.

This TV has worked good for me. Things I don't like about is it's cheaply made, very flimsy. My 2 year old caused a small chip in the screen and now a bright white light shines thru. The auto dim is annoying and the sound is very weak. Once in a while the TV freezes and has to be unplugged and plugged back in but it doesn't happen often enough to be a real inconvenience. I have not had any problems with internet connection and I use WiFi. Chromecast works fine. I found a backdoor way to download Amazon Prime from a YouTube Video. I love the voice command and I downloaded a remote app to my phone that works great. Love the bluetooth. I think android TV is the most superior platform for smart TV's. Not sure why so many others are having problems, maybe I just got lucky and got a good one.

It doesn't break any records in terms of contrast ratio, response time, brightness, etc. But given the price, its specs are far better than you'd expect. Not only that, but it's actually a pretty capable panel with some nice features. It can do 3840x2160 @ 60hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, no problem. It can pass through 5.1 uncompressed via HDMI. It even lets you select which EDID version to use (1.4 or 2.0) for each individual input. Perfect fit for my use case.

I usually don't submit reviews bc of time but when I was looking at buying this I saw a few negative reviews. This is a great TV and does EXACTLY what it says it does. Some people should not own smart technology and therefore wouldn't complain about it. If you can't set up your smart phone by yourself you should not buy this tv. Hope this help someone...

This was a black Friday impulse buy, and was concerned with the quality and features for such a economical price. I was pleasantly surprised that so far the TV has meet and exceeded my expectations. I would now purchase this TV at a full price. So far the picture has been great and all the features work fine so far. Set up with Ethernet on this TV.

not bad a tv for what i paid, som small bugs, could use a better remote

The quality of the display is in the top marks. Speakers of the TV. Are basic. No way to keep it with them only. Remote is okay but would've been nice if it was bluetooth or wifi .. with some modern sensors. But anyways you can add another remote vis bluetooth to it so not a big deal. I love the android OS in the TV.. everything works easy like if it was an android phone in your hands.. you have only about 5gb internal storage so don't expect alot of large size apps from the play store buy so far the storage is more than enough I guess cuz you dont really need too many apps on the TV anyways.. most of the tv apps are in few hunderds of MBs not large or anything for example Kodi is only 188mb, popcorn time is 82.mb etc... Screen type is LCD but I see Philips using the latest technology in here with this LCD. Black color is deep black and no problems with color when the screen has a black background.
