docking station for iPod/iPhone

Wow....what can I say?!?! The sound caught me off guard. I had to turn around and make sure that it said Philips and not Bose! Philips you did a great job!!!!

This product is very easy to set up with the enclosed instructions. The sound quality is pretty good. The FM Radio has a sufficient number of pre-set stations. It would have been nice to have an AM tuner as well, however, that was not critical to my purchase decision.

For the most part, this is a great docking station. But I really hate the fact that it only charges my iPhone when it sees fit. If the docking station charged all the time. It would be the perfect docking station for me. Because it fails here, I would not recommend this product.

Its easy to use and the sound is excellent !!! i use it mos t of the time to hear music it does work great with iphone and is easy to carry everywhere.

I was worried as to how this little system would sound...big sound for a little system, pretty impressive. The sound coming out of this little system is unbelievable. I like the compact design, not big and bulking and pretty easy to use. Great little system for the price.

While it won't serve as a replacement for a Bose system, it has decent sound and takes up little space on my desk at work.

I really enjoyed the ease of this product, but a few months after purchase, the Ipod/Iphone cord became loose, and only worked a portion of the time. I could never get my music to play as an alarm, and if you turn up the volume too much, the sound quality is terrible. As long as you keep the volume at an average level, ths product is very good for a period of time.

Sound is great. Unit size, layout, and user interface are fine. The wake to max volume is totally unacceptable. And I know I should have read the product description more closely, but who builds a clock radio with no AM but only FM. I was so disappointed when I realized this. The time sync feature is nice, but I would have liked the alarms to sync with the alarm on my iPhone. Maybe too much to expect but now I get both my phone alarm and the docking station alarm going off at same time. Don't want to disable phone alarm for when I'm not at home.

Sounds good. Simple clean looking. BUT, two things are a big fail. 1. Blue LED clock display is great in the dark but un-readable in a room with lights on or daylight, even at highest setting. I like to check the time during the daytime also, not just in the dark of the morning. 2. The wake-up to radio/IPOD fails due to it increasing in volume until it is as loud as it can possibly go. So loud its going to blow the speakers. Hit the snooze (like everyone does) in the first couple of seconds. Then I get up forgetting snooze is activated, go into the shower and then it turns on. Mad rush from shower is dangerous.

I bought this unit to use while I'm working in my studio. It's a small space and I like to have music on low in the background. At low volumes the sound from this unit is very muffled. I'm disappointed in its performance for my purpose, but at higher volumes I think it does perform well.
