I have this product for 9 months now , 2 coffee every day. Easy to use and clean , great design and quality .

This is a great product and I enjoy using it. It's easy to clean and takes up small counter space. I also enjoy using both ways to make espresso.

Great espresso machine. I've had this unit for one year and have not been disapointed I recommend that you try various brands of beans with this machine. The beans make a big difference on the quality of the espresso.

March 2015: after one year of use I find the Intellia to require constant attention just to get it to work. I have the following issues with the Intellia: right out of the box it had to be sent in to fix the cleaning cycle that still does not work... There is no way to escape / reset the cleaning cycle once it starts. The sensors for 'full grinds' will trigger prematurely; the low water and beans sensors report falsely but not as often; the plastic grill above the grinding mechanism has six 1/2 inch holes that are too small to allow beans to pass... Making them 1/8 inch larger has solved the problem; this is a noisy machine; the milk injector mechanism is very complicated and difficult to clean; cappuccinos are a bit too cool.

I wish this machine made espresso as it is pictured on the box: with thick brown crema. What I am getting is a very thin flat pale beige foam (sign of obvious underextraction). This indicates that either the water pressure is insufficient and/or coffee gets ground too coarsely so the water flows through too fast. I tried all the variations of settings available, tried several coffee brands with different darkness of roast yet at the hottest water temperature I am not getting any decent crema. That would not matter when it comes to cappuccino because the coffee gets covered with the milk foam (and even that foam could be much thicker...). My machine is still under warranty, but despite rigorous maintenance the bean hopper seems to get stuck quite often and even though full, this results in no coffee in the grinder (red warning "no coffee"). The water container is too small, needs re-filling too often (the huge filter already takes away 25% of the space).

Almost since day 1 we have had challenges with the grinding of the beans. Beans are in the hopper, dry - not oily beans, and it does not grind properly. Brown water comes out of the machine. I now have it apart on my counter trying to figure it out. We have had other machines that have worked for over five years with no problems. Thought this would be good but..........
