5.1 DVD Home theater

For a Small room I feel the sound quality is just about right. Speakers are small and light dvd is slim and compact. Perfect for a small room like a dorm... If you are looking to blow out some windows at your next movie night then this is not for you. The sound is very good for the price and great for everyday use. Remote control is not the greatest, buttons are not very responsive you gotta press them a few times for the thing to do what you want. the wires are too short so if you try to put the rear speaker on the opposite side of the tv in the back wall and hide the wires you will not be able to reach that wall unless that small room is the size of a jail cell

It does not come with the cable to connect dvd to tv so its sitting in box till we have time to go purchase the cable needed dissapointed once i get it going i will leave a full reveiw

Not one of my better purchases the device doesnt come with the hdmi cable to make it work. the settings are absurd and seem to need to be redone every time you turn it off. The sound is ok for dvd or fm but the audio level while hooked up to a philips tv is very low. Just more aggravation than its worth.mike
