Philips Avent Baby monitor

I received this product from the Stellar Parent Panel in exchange for my feedback. We LOVE this monitor. I have only ever used WiFi monitors before this one and struggled with them from the start. Setup is usually long and tedious and then we would struggle with maintaining consistent connection and quality. First, set up is crazy easy. We literally opened up the box, plugged in the camera and monitor and that’s it; we were using the camera for that nap time. The secure connection not only avoids pairing and re-pairing the camera over and over again, but gives you beautifully clear camera quality and audio quality. Turn on the monitor and that’s it, baby is in perfect view. We tried out the lullaby feature, microphone feature- both really cool options that we haven’t seen on past monitors. What really sets this monitor apart is the different modes you can use. For quiet play, we like to use the “audio” mode. We leave it on “video” mode for most naps so we can see the instant he wakes up. Our favorite is “Eco” mode for his nighttime sleeping. We set the sensitivity a little lower (he moves a lot in his sleep) and the screen only projects when he wakes up. That way we save so much battery life on our monitor, even though the battery life is already impressive not on eco mode. Overall, this is our favorite and most used baby product in our house right now and we definitely recommend.

I really like this monitor because it doesn’t need to use the WiFi for connection and it’s very private and secure. I like that you can adjust the viewing angle of the baby camera and the baby monitor is portable and runs on its own battery. The baby monitor is 3.5 inches color screen with a 2x zoom capability. It has very good quality picture and it doesn’t lag— provides quick feedback. If I wanted to, I am able to am able to talk to the baby through the monitor, able to play lullabies, provide a night light and also monitors room temperature. There are also different modes you can use while monitoring baby such as video, audio, vox and eco mode. My favorite is the eco mode because it saves energy by reducing power use by switching off the audio and video and turns on as soon as baby makes a noise. The only reason why I gave this produce a 4/5 rating is because the camera for the baby is not portable so if you lose power, there will be no video link of baby until the power is restored. I had a black out occur and I didn’t get to video monitor my baby until the power came back on. But overall, I really like this baby monitor. I received this monitor to test it as part of the weeSpring parent panel. We loved this monitor! The video quality is great and it’s very accurate as well. I love that it doesn’t connect to my phone or an app, because I want to be able to use it independently of an internet connection. I love how the video quality is clear as well.

I really like the Phillps Avent Digital Video Baby Monitor. I received it from the weeSpring Parent Panel and I am so grateful I was able to use it for my little one, especially during nap time. I loved being able to see him with the color monitor and the talkback feature was awesome. He was very surprised when I told him to lay back down and he could not see me. I had no problems with the night vision to keep an eye on him while he sleeps. Can't wait to use it again for baby #2 due in February. I would definitely recommend to anyone expecting or in need of a new baby monitor.

I received this product thanks to weespring Parent panel free of charge to review. I am no spring chicken with this being my third son. I had used a “higher” end model for the past two boys and let me tell you this monitor blew them out of the water. I had to replace the monitor twice on our previous monitors and they are not cheap even under warranty. I was pleasantly surprised with how much the battery lasted longer on the Philips Avent monitor. The monitor was sturdy and reached every part of my house including our wrap around patio. That is something that neither monitors I had previously did. I also quite enjoyed the eco mode because it kept me from staring at the monitor when I woke up in the middle of the night. I was able to trust that if any of my boys were awake the monitor would have alerted me and the camera view would be available. Overall, this simple no bells and whistles blew my fancy monitors out of the water. A+++

I have been using this Philips Avent Video Baby Monitor for the past few weeks and have tried to find something I don’t like about it and honestly, I can’t! My honest opinion is this is the best video monitor on the market and will be the last one we own! I love all the features it has like the night light, lullaby songs, 2 way talk feature. My 2 favorite features is has are the temperature reading inside the room and the ECO feature. I don’t like having a bright screen light on while I’m trying to sleep so I just switch it to ECO mode and the screen will just come on when my daughter makes a noise (depending on the sensitivity level I have it set on). I was kinda skeptical at first not thinking the video clarity would be good enough but once again I was wrong and the picture quality is great! If I hear and see my daughter getting a little restless I just turn on one of the lullaby songs from the parent unit so I don’t have to get out of bed and go into her room. It also works great for nap time as I can just clip it on my belt and walk around the house or go outside and finish up yard work. You will not be disappointed in the unit at all! The Philips Avent baby monitor is the best baby monitor we’ve used throughout our three children baby stage. It’s quick and easy to set up and even easier to use. I tried it out on both my 16 month old and my 5 month old. For my baby, since he’s still in our room, I placed it near my own dresser and turned it towards his crib. On occasion I even placed it within his crib, at the foot of his mattress. It’s so compact and portable that it doesn’t take up hardly any room and is easy to maneuver and set up to your exact liking. This was a great option for whenever I went outside with my older children while the baby was napping. I was still able to take the portable display part and keep an eye on my baby without being in the house. For my 16 month old I placed it on his dresser and turned to face his bed. My 16 month old loves sleeping in the dark and likes to have his door closed when napping/sleeping. Despite how dark it was in his room, the monitor still provided a great image. The monitor itself is also great since there’s no blinking bright light when in use or a lit up screen. Aside from the optional night light (which itself isn’t too bright either), you can’t even tell the monitor is there, let alone on. This is great if you have an older child who will try and touch it if he could see it. The actual screen/display is also quite light and portable. The screen itself is a good size, and the option to turn down the sound and still receive alerts when baby is making noise was a blessing when using it with my 16 month old. My baby (who’s crib is still in our room) wasn’t bothered by his older brother whenever he made noise. I was happy to have received the Phillips Avent Digital Video Baby Monitor as part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel, in exchange for my honest review.

Thanks to weeSpring parent panel for this product! This video monitor system is amazing! The picture quality is phenomenal and the sound quality is great, it's loud enough to hear baby but not too overpowering you can't have a conversation. I love the music and sounds features that I can turn on from the monitor without having to go into the nursery and risk waking up baby! The only thing I was frustrated with was I felt it was hard to adjust the camera from the monitor!

We loved this PA video baby monitor! The screen is huge in comparison to other brands, but not so bulky as to not be able to move from room to room. We have a 3000sqft home, and had a great connection everywhere. The night vision is great quality as well, and I really liked the ability to set temperature alarms. With the change of weather, we have been leaving windows open, and it woke me up when it got too cold in our little man's room! I also liked the nightlight feature, we were able to condense and get rid of the wall plugin one we were using previously. I received this baby monitor through the WeeSpring Parent Panel in exchange for my honest review of the product. I really loved this monitor! It has multiple functions including a microphone to talk to your baby, lullabies that you can play for baby, and different monitoring modes including audio and eco mode. I love the audio only mode for nighttime- the sound of baby will wake me but I do not have the light from the monitor keeping me up! The range on the monitor is great- I can go all throughout my house and even on my deck and still hear baby. Picture quality is excellent, one of the best that I have seen on monitors!
