Clock Radio

I bought this clock because I needed a clock with 2 alarms. I am very pleased so far with this product. Time and alarms are very easy to set and if you have trouble the directions are very easy to read. I like the fact you can use alarm 1 or alarm 2 or both alarms together. There is a bright and dim switch for the display on the back of the unit. There is a volume control for the radio but not the alarm buzzer, but the buzzer is loud enough to wake you up but not be terribly annoying. All in all it is a great clock for the money, it seems well made and the case is attractive for any decor. Would recommend to anyone.

I've been using this radio clock for a very short time now, but so far I'm happy with the product. All the features work fine for me, altho' it took some research and reading from the user manual - those of you with bad reviews about this and that not working, alarm won't turn off, or such small things, just take few ,moment to read the user manual, all the steps on how to properly set it up are there. Yes, I agree, it's not so self-intuitive on how to use it, at a first glance, but a little extra time spent reading the user manual will definitely help you get going...

I have only had this product for a short time. So far so good.

I got this because it had big numbers - with my glasses off at night I wanted to be able to still see what time it was. And it does have a great display. I find the buttons for setting the time and alarms a little confusing, but then I found my last clock radio confusing too. This one works great, hope it lasts a long time.

Wanted a dual alarm with radio for both time settings and this unit has that. However, the shut-off button should be the "snooze" button and you can eliminate the snooze feature. I want to awake to the alarm and get up, not go back to sleep. The little 3/8 dia. button for "off" is far to small to find in the dark. If you feel this is the size you are going to use, then light it up from within the button so you can find it. I personally dislike snooze buttons as they defeat the purpose of the alarm. Also, on my unit, the battery backup does not work, so I have a windup alarm as a back-up unit .. never fails.

The alarm goes off every day - there is no off switch! Who wants an alarm on weekends!! Will return.

I bought this alarm clock because I liked the display size, but it has too many drawbacks to be worth it. The brightness is not adjustable, the volume is not adjustable, the snooze button is impossible to find in the dark, the alarm doesent have a weekend setting

two days ago i woke and accidentally pushed repeat alarm button. Could not get the radio to turn off afterwards. Ended up turning volume down to min. Next day alarm failed to go off. Finally had to unplug clock from the wall Not my favorite product. Will look for new clock radio, but not a Philips.

I like the big display but that's it. It's got a ridiculous way to set the time. You can't select the hour and then the minutes. You have sit there with your finger on the buttons and scroll through one number at a time. It used to go really fast but that stopped working so now it takes forever. It just took me 8 minutes to set the time. The power went out so I had to reset it. It was around 8 pm. Well, when the power goes out, it flashes 12:00 am. I had to hold down two buttons for 8 minutes until it finally got to 8:00 pm. Then I had to set the alarm time too. It's a stupid design.

I could not stop the alarm from going off every morning. There are days when I don't want the alarm. I looked through the instructions, I went to your web site and I could not find the answer. Your directions are not detailed enough. I am returning the product.
