SmartSleepSleep and Wake-Up Light

If you're like me and struggle over the winter months to wake up before the sun is up, you're going to LOVE this alarm. I wake up feeling alert, refreshed and ready to start my day!

This product is everything it is advertised to be. I was skeptical whether the sunset simulation wind down function would be all that useful - but it was!!! It's so nice to wake up gently, rather than by a jarring alarm that gives you a heart attack when it goes off first thing in the morning. I also decided that I needed to get this model which has the back-up function in case the power goes out. It gives me peace of mind. Navigating through the 'set up' wasnt as bad as I had read it might be. Just take your time, and it's a breeze. Well worth the time and effort! I felt it was too pricey at over $200 Cdn, so I waited until Black Friday Sales. It was well worth the wait, I got it just over $100 and worth every penny.

I have really poor hearing without my hearing aids so this alarm with the sunrise feature is a real blessing for me.Worth the price for me

Extremely happy with my purchase. I was in the market for a wake-up light and after doing some research, decided to go for this one. It is pricey but the benefits outweigh the price for me. The gentle gradient of both sunrise and sunset is quite pretty. The speaker is not the greatest but does the job, I wouldn't listen to music through it. I personally wanted a wake-up light without any smartphone connectivity and this one is provides all the features and customization without any smart connectivity. The menu is fairly easy to navigate with distinct icons, just had to read the manual once. This wake-up light really transformed my bedtime and wakeup routine for the better.

I feel refreshed and awake when I wake up with this light. It's wonderful for early winter mornings.

Thanks to this SmartSleep Sleep and Wakeup Light, I’ve become an early bird after 45 years of being a night owl!! When I first plugged it in, I set the alarm to 6:00 am with the bird sounds and have been out of bed by 6:03 every day since. I keep forgetting to turn the alarm off on the weekend, so I have not been sleeping in on my days off. This is both good and bad. LOL I do not use the wind down, breathing, or radio. I don’t use the night light very often. One drawback, I did not know there was a difference between a connected and regular version of this lamp. I assumed “Smart” meant it worked with my smart phone and when it was delivered, I tried connecting to the app. That didn’t work. The smart connected version probably would allow me to sleep in on the weekend, but this is a sunk cost. I am not going to buy a second one. The version I bought does have two alarm settings, and it is super easy to disable one alarm and enable another. I just need to make it part of my routine. Long drawn out explanation made short, make sure you get the one you want, connected or non-connected, they have slightly different model numbers…. I 99% love this product. It loses just 1% because the one I bought doesn’t connect with the app, but I should have researched a little more.

The gradual wake eliminates waking up with a startle, waking during deep sleep or a dream. And the morning light is a game changer during the dark winter months. Highly recommend! Mornings are much more pleasant.

I use the Sunset feature at night while reading to help me fall asleep, and the Alarm setting to wake up with sounds of birds instead of a blaring alarm. This works brilliantly for me personally and I feel better during the day.

I received the Somneo Wake Up Light for free in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I never really knew that this product would be so useful in my life! Just a disclaimer about this review I love everything about this alarm clock/sleep aid/music player/night light. To start off, the design is gorgeous and modern. It fits so nicely in my room next to my other tech gadgets. The quality is great as well. It may be a little too big for some people but to me the size was some of its charm. The setup was quick and easy enough that I could have done it with my eyes closed. If you begged me to pick one thing about it that I would change, I guess I would say more options for the alarm clock and bedtime sounds. And also the app is a little glitchy, I had to go back a few time in order to get my page to load properly, but again no biggie. This thing has really helped my husband who has trouble getting to sleep. And the biggest benefit for me is I realize I am so much more energized in the morning not waking up to a deafeningly loud alarm clock, it’s just not natural to have to wake up that way, and let me tell you it changes the way I start my day and the way I feel getting out of bed. Again folks I really wasn’t in the market for anything like this, I was so ready to hate it, and now I’m wondering how I went so long without it. Go get you one NOW!!!
