I have really enjoyed this product, the features & sound are outstanding, I am very happy with my selection, thank you & I look forward to my next purchase, I'm looking to buy a plasma 60 inch tv, I would like it to be a Phillips brand but it depends on the price & the features, again thank you!

Great powerful as stated, very loud at low volume has a great amount of features i purchased this back in october of 2011 and never looked back. The only thing that would have made it 5 stars is if the unit when powered on would automatically be on aux 1 or what ever you had it on, not home. Also if we could map the colored buttons ourselves for aux 1/2, radio etc instead of having to scroll through each one individually. Otherwise great unit for the price

The only drawback is the difficulty in adjusting bass and treble to allow for room size and speaker placement

Love watching blue ray movies in total surround sound on this unit it works great and all of the different features are awesome as well, the only problem i have with it is if you are watching an action movie or have something that is putting off some bass to the subwoofer after a few mins the subwoofer cuts down to half power then after a few mins it kicks back in and works fine but it justs repeats that cycle, not understanding why it does this and it does get very annoying but otherwise it is a good system.

When I purchased this system I was not expecting the sound quality the system offers at such a low cost.

This is my first blue-ray player. It is very easy to hook up and run. Lots of options, great sound, easy to use. Love Vudu it has some great apps. I just wish it had Netflix. I will buy Phillips again.

It's nicely adjustable for the dimensions of the room, and to suit one's taste in sound. The unit also communicates with my Philips flat screen TV to turn it on. But it won't automatically turn the TV off or I haven't figured out how. It would be nice to only use one remote. One other thing that I have not figured out is how to change the default "on mode" because by default the unit puts the TV into the HDMI 3 option for viewing a movie from the unit. But most often when I want to use the unit I am using it to reproduce sound from the TV and need it to be in HDMI 1 option. So, a few clicks are needed to reselect HDMI 1 every time I turn on the unit. I'll figure this out soon hopefully. :) Otherwise I am very happy, for the small money spent, with our Philips blue ray home entertainment unit.

Dead after 16 months Warranty 12 months im not very satified of this product

I have updated the software as per customer support and the unit still freezes up at random when playing blue ray movies. At first I thought it was just scratched disc but it does it with brand new movies also. The startup menu is slow. You have to wait for what seems an eternity to change menu's or input devices. The FM receiver is all but useless. The only dolby format it seems to accept is 2.1. This is my first and last Phillips product.
