Blu-ray home theater system

Love this product. The sound quality is excellent and the netflix feature is a winner.

I was very doubtful when i bought this system, but when i tried it i was very impressed it has lasted since it first came out all the way to this day (July 10, 2016). Its simply awesome.

I bought it being excited about the Netflix feature - Ordered netflix and now im told you can't have it work on netflix in Canada. Fail

Connects to the net through ethernet cable and not WiFi. Equalizer settings are preset with no way to manually adjust bass or treble. Netflix lacks the full menu. You have to add movies to your queue using your computer and online account. You can't just scroll through the movies on screen and then press play. No way to add other net services like Crackle, Hulu or others. Speaker wires aren't color coded, so if you have to splice in a longer piece, you better cut only one wire at a time!!!!

I purchased this system at a local discount store. Hook up was easy, sound is awesome, picture is great! Downside is that this system requires an ethernet cable (not wireless wifi ready) in order to take advantage of Netflix or Pandora. How many people have an ethernet cable close to their television? Also, there is no iPod doc as the features imply.

i have had this unit a year now. moving from disc all the way to fm channels is very slow, unless you are going through your tv to use it. the sound is mediocre at best. i was hoping for more powerful sound, more bass just more everything. just have to turn up to the point where the sound is just obnoxious. however the size is perfect for a compact area, set up was easy just had to play awhile in the advanced settings. i also wish the unit was wi-fi but it is not.

I am partial to Philips products but my selection of this blu-ray home heater system was faulty. It does not meet my basic expectations.

This is the second Phillips surround sound I have purchased and it has major issues just like the first one and Phillips does not offer any upgrades that address the issue so I do not recommend this product nor will I be purchasing any more Phillips products in the future
