Go semi- automatic for a good espresso
This is an excellent machine. It's much better than the expensive fully automated machines which are easier to use but sacrifice personal control and quality. I've experience many fully Automated machines but have yet to find one that produces a good hot espresso curto or lungo. Most fully automatic machines also have a problem with producing a nice hot froth for a cappucino. If you're a true espresso lover, with patience, I highly recommend the Phillips semi automatic.

Not recommended
Received as a gift Christmas 2024, in less than 4 months, stopped working. Reviewed manual and videos but didn’t help. Won’t grind, won’t heat, cannot hear pump coming on. Contacting customer support today over the phone.
