Philips AventNatural nipple

My baby loves these nipples. She is 3 months old. I'll continue to buy these products.

Me and my baby are very pleased! I struggled with bottle feeding because baby and I were so used to breastfeed. Every other brand I used gave my baby a lot of gas. But the first time I used Philips Avent Natural Variflow Nipple, I noticed that baby was not so uncomfortable after feedings. The nipple was so soft and wide which I loved because it really resembles mommies nipples. With other brands it took a few tries to get a good latch but with the Philips Avent Natural Variflow Nipple he latched on very quick. I used the size 1 nipple flow and baby seemed to take well to it. Wtih the anti-colic vent, Ive noticed baby is a lot less colicy and is more happy after feedings. I especially loved the ergonomic shape and the easy assemble pieces of the bottlee. I used the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle when I was pumping on the go and the bottles were perfect to carry around and put together. I am so happy that I received these bottles as a gift from the weeSpring Parent Panel. I would highly recommend trying this brand, for the quality, the convenience and how well my baby took to it with no tummy issues. A little about me: I have a 5 month old son and recently started back to work (no luck on the lottery..ugh). I strictly breastfeed so that means lots and lots of pumping at work. My little one gave me problems in the beginning taking a bottle, so that meant lots of traveling back and forth to home during my lunch break (which for me was great to see him but not so great for my co-workers). After many different brands of bottles, he finally let go of his stubbornness and gave in to the idea of a bottle! Everything was packaged really well when I received the product; no defects at all. First off, I think it is great to have a variety of nipples ready to go for your little one! Currently mine is still on a slow flow nipple (he seems to get too much and kind of chokes on the milk). I was a little unsure of these nipples. My little one is VERY picky about his nipple styles. He seems to gag a little on the longer ones like most bottles have. So on first use with the medium flow I wasn't expecting too much, but to my surprise he loved them!!! He took it great and drank the whole bottle without any issues! I do think though that if I would have tried these at the very beginning of our bottle journey he would not have liked them, but since he is getting used to bottles now he seems to have no problem with these. My guy never had issues with colic but this would be a great option for any babies since this has an anti-colic vent. These are very easy to clean (especially if you are like me and don't have a dishwasher). I love the shape of this nipple (the wide-base and flexible nipple) and I think this is why my little one took so well to it. I would definitely buy this as a baby shower gift and recommend this product for all moms to put on there registry! We are a mixed breastfeeding/bottle feeding household, so it's been a huge concern that whatever bottles/nipples we use for our little 4 month old won't lead to any nipple confusion or bottle battles and there are so many options available today! These nipples are an ultra soft and flexible silicone and my little one latched right on the first time with no problem, better than with our usual bottles even! I was concerned that since she was used to a flatter bottle nipple she would struggle but she did great with the round natural nipple. They are super easy to put into the lid and snap into place so you know they are sealed and won't leak. They have an anti-colic system built in which means no extra parts to clean and no gassy baby! Our only issues with these nipples were our little poky eater just wasn't quite ready for the faster flow yet and when she'd get to the bottom of her bottle, the nipple would get pinched off since she's an upright feeder. These will be great as she starts to eat faster - thanks weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this bottle nipple!

My LO had a rough start with bottle feeding since he was a preemie. He also began bottle feeding with a different brand that was recommended by the speech therapists in the NICU. I received Avent products and decided to give them a try since I hated the other brand. My LO had zero issues transitioning. He latched on right away and the transition from the different flows went smoother than I anticipated. I was afraid he may choke or make a mess (something I've experienced with other brands), but he was able to get the hang of it. I've also noticed he is much calmer and has less gas since using these nipples along with the Avent bottles. My LO seems very comfortable during his feeds, it makes for a much more pleasant experience. I am also very happy with how easy these are to clean and sterilize. I am returning to work full-time and have been trying to find the best nipple options for my 4.5 month old son to try to make the transition from breast to bottle as smooth as possible. I had previously favored another brand, but I've been even happier with this nipple design. I feel like my son's latch is much more natural thanks to the wide design. The nipple is flexible but doesn't easily collapse to pressure, although he has taken to gumming everything (teething soon??). The most dramatic improvement I've seen though is how much less gas discomfort I've noticed post feed. He has struggled with reflux since he was an infant, and we often see him arching his back after feeding. With this nipple he is intaking much less air, and it's instead being correctly vented back into the bottle. No arching back or fussing...and much happier parents. I received the Philips Avent Natural Variflow Nipple as part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel. My 3 month old baby has had difficulty taking a bottle from the beginning. This bottle and nipple feels and looks more breast-like and my baby actually took it. The bottle is comfortable to hold. My only concern is that when you put the bottle together, if you don't pull the nipple in place tightly there can be some leakage. Since my baby hasn't taken many other bottles it's hard to say how effective the colic features were on this bottle.

Now that my first child is 4 months old, I needed to increase his flow when given a bottle to keep him happy. To be sure he would take a bottle as I am exclusively breastfeeding, I wanted to have multiple bottles on hand to try if one failed. I really like the Avent brand Natural medium flow nipple because it gets the job done! These are by far the easiest bottles to put together as the nipple just easily pulls into place. The nipples are soft feeling more like mother's breast with enough tension to keep from collapsing. He takes a moment to understand that he is not getting milk his usual way, but once he latches on, he has no trouble feeding. I have not had any trouble with nipple confusion resulting from use with this brand, but I do not use bottles very often. I am lucky that my baby does not have reflux or colic, but the Avent bottles feature a unique Airflex vent to keep air away from sensitive baby tummies. I had no idea a variable flow nipple existed until we were given this bottle nipple to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I have twins that I breastfeed most of the time, but take a bottle when I'm at work. Both of my little ones tend to be glupers - once they start eating from a bottle they chug the milk down! Unfortunately, at 15 weeks, they tend to spit up if they eat too fast. These variflow nipples have been great for them on the lowest flow setting. I'm not sure if we'll ever get to feed on a higher flow option, but it's nice to have the flexibility. Also, no leaks!

As a nursing mother preparing to go back to work at the end of my maternity leave, I am working on getting my son used to taking a bottle. He took this bottle nipple with no problem at all. It has a natural feel. The nipples come in various flow rates which I found helpful to match his age. I will be getting more of these to send with him to daycare!
