My DisplayPort has no audio output for XP

Install the latest display card drivers

Go to Control Panel from Start =>Settings=>Control Panel. Click Sounds and Audio Devices.

You should see two Default devices in the selection lists. Choose ATI HD Audio output to replace, in this case, original Realtek audio output.
