My Philips TV remote control does not work on the television and there is a letter F on the upper right hand corner of the screen

The letter F appearing in the right hand corner of the screen means the television is in factory mode
To exit from factory mode, first press the 'VOL -' for 3 seconds, and followed by pressing the ‘MENU' button on the front of the TV set until the 'F' goes away (approximately 3 seconds)
Note: You have to use the 'VOL -' and the 'MENU' button on the front of the TV set and not the one on the remote
