I cannot get any sound from my Philips TV when it is connected to some DVI accessory device

If you connect a DVI accessory device to the television using a DVI-to-HDMI cable, you must connect the audio left and right output from the accessory device to the 'AV1 AUDIO IN L R' of the television.

Then you need to activate the DVI audio source from the TV on-screen-menu.

1. Press the 'MENU' button on the remote control.
2. Press cursor up/down to select SETUP and press cursor right.
3. Press cursor up/down to select SOURCE and press cursor right.
4. Press cursor up/down to select ANALOG AUDIO IN and press cursor right.
5. Press cursor up/down to select HDMI and press the 'OK' button.
6. Press the 'MENU' button to exit the menu.
