Philips TV speaker(s) have no sound

Television takes sound settings of the peripheral.

  • Sound problem may be caused by external device, this can be tested by temporarily connecting another external device (such as DVD or VCR)

One external speaker is not producing sound.

  • Bring the amplifier balance to the center

Sound from external speakers does not match sound from television speakers.

  • Make sure that correct input is selected on the amplifier (not CD or radio, but the input the television is connected to)
