Excellent machine.
Was given this machine as a house warming gift 5 years ago. It is used at least 4-5 times a day. It gets cleaned every Sunday Morning,( after our first cups) as a ritual. (We de scale it only about twice a year as we have excellent water and don’t get build up.) We have NEVER had an issue with it. Excellent coffee every time. Only 4 stars because of the vague instructions that came with it. YouTube is your friend, as is this site. Definitely recommend it to anyone who loves good coffee. GET GOOD BEANS!!! Play with the the settings to find the best grind and mixtures for you.
Pros
Easy to clean, great settings.
Cons
Instructions are a little vague you have to play with the settings to get what you want.

good coffee and very easy to use
Extremely easy to use almost intuitive and makes good coffee but on the bad side, the drip tray fills up quickly, and the water container needs to be filled up every morning. I used a cup to collect the rinse water so I wouldn't have to remove the drip tray but that doesn't help as half the water from each cup goes in the drip tray and only half goes in the cup. I think they have a flaw in the design, and I can't imagine why Saeco can't figure it out. I saw an youtube video of one handy guy who fixed the problem with a toothpick, well not really fixing the problem, but why would someone spend this much money to have to improvise? Other than that, good coffee machine. I am debating if I should buy it again and just deal with the filling up and emptying out drip tray. Not sure if I would recommend this unit.
