Saeco MoltioSuper-automatic espresso machine

I had a Seaco about 7-8 years ago and love it. Had to sell it, for a good price. I was waiting to get a deal it finally came at Costco, this superb Saeco with advanced brewing options and redesigned housing. The second bean hopper was a great surprise, the free water filter and the decalcifier also. I love that the bean hopper shakes and makes sure the beans all go down smoothly. Thank you Saeco.

Love this machine! The quality of coffee is fabulous and the functionality is outstanding. Disappointed I didn't buy one earlier.

I have been looking for a Saeco machine for a while - this one does it for me. it comes with two been hoppers that are easy to swap out so i can have my decaf just as freshly ground as regular beans. I have customized the coffee length, I can change the strength all at the push of a button - milk frother works well and cleaning is easy. It also has a bypass doser for specialty coffee for a change of flavour.

My previous unit was a Saeco Giro which lasted me 9 years before the strength of the coffee became too weak for many reasons. This unit makes a great espresso and cup of coffee. Easy to use. Easy to clean.

It took a little bit of time to figure out how to set up the machine, but once we got it working it was great. Also, following the weekly cleaning routine is a must. The Espresso is strong, just like Coffee house Espresso. In fact, we increased the strength over the preset level and had to return it to the mid range setting. The Espresso is first quality with the only drawback being that you must refill the beans, the water drawer and empty the dregs bin every day or two. Our previous Saeco model had much larger bins that didn't need to be refilled/emptied but about once a week. I guess it actually makes for better Espresso because it's fresher. While the capacities are smaller, the unit takes up about a third less space and is much easier to handle. Up to this point, we are very happy with our purchase.

We love using this machine to make regular coffee, cappuccinos and mochaccinos, all day long, for ourselves and our guests. It's super easy, and always tells you what it needs -- more water, more beans, dumping used coffee grounds, etc.

It is a good product regarding to its price and features offered. Easy to get a decent coffee every morning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brews decent coffee, had to make some adjustments to ensure it was customized to meet our preference. We found that it makes a small volume cup of coffee, this can be changed by pressing the coffee button X2. We had originally adjusted the amount of water added to the cup, but this made the coffee taste watered down. Easy to set up and clean. Rock solid construction. Is not too loud, acceptable noise when grinding beans and brewing coffee. Milk frother works well and so does hot water dispenser. Like the option to brew ground coffee. The second bean hopper is a nice option to have other bean varieties ready to go if needed. Water and coffee are always piping hot. Some splashing when brewing, but this can be managed by lowering the dispensers. Nice that it can make 2 coffees at the same time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to replace my el busto saeco minuto. Didn't want to go to a manual setup although manual is the way to go for the best tasting coffees. Hard to beat the convenience of a semi automatic. Esp when you just don't have time in the morning to monkey around just to get a your caffeine fix. This machine produce shots that are close enough (90%) to those manual pro machines that I can gladly live with. Also I prefer the manual milk frother to the automated ones. You have better control of the milk temp and foam. And the added bonus of being much cheaper and less stuff to clean or break. So this guy is a couple buckeroos more than the minuto but performs much better overall. Extraction seems better. Shots are much richer tasting. Plus it isn't up there in the thousands of dollars range. So yeah. It's good value esp if you can get it on sale. Haven't compared to some of the higher end models so can't comment on that. Would love to do an A/B comparison one day to see if there is any difference in extraction quality

Purchased in 2017. Microswitch for door failed in first year. Fire started on electronics board in second year. Expensive machine with poor reliability.
