NIVEAHS85 Shaving unit

It was one of the best shaving systems that I had in years, but some "genius" from Philips decided to kill it and instead introduce a variety of c*appy new shavers. Nice job in terms of customer support and market research. Switching back to Braun.

I sure would have liked to get a plastic cover for the new head.

I will be ordering this product as-needed going forward. It has weened me off of the "old razor" mentality-NEVER thought that would happen!

I really enjoy this product. It is not easy to find the conditioner but so far I have been able to.

The Phillips Nivea shaving system combines the best of both worlds, a superior electric razor with the comfort of Nivea shaving balm. The Nivea lotion makes the razor glide over the skin giving a blade close shave while protecting and treating the skin. I also like the ability to use the system wet or dry.

The blades and chamber for Nivea shave gel works great. The blades glide across my beard cutting close with comfortable ease. However, one cannot locate this item in any major retail outlet chain. Therefore, shopping for a replacement directs one to Phillips Norelco website.

Before my step daughter purchased my first Phillips shaving unit, I wouldn't use an electric razor. Now, I won't use anything else. I am on my second Phillips electric razor. It does such a great job of giving me a clean shave. I don't get the 5 o'clock shadows by noon any more. It takes less time to get the job done, and my face feels much smoother than with a regular razor and shaving cream.

Have been using this product for about 10 years and have found using it has been a pleasure.

I have had the new Norelco Nivea shaver for year and a half and I can't complain anything about it. It gives a real close shave and the Nivea lotion is a plus for the shave.

Replacing the blades and lotion cartridge makes the razor perform just like new!
