Philips AventBaby bottle screw rings

This ring is the vent system for the bottles, other bottles have a much more complex system making parts hard to clean and assemble, i love how easy these are to clean and they really work,

This is a necessary item for the Avent bottles. They keep the milk from dripping.

I bought these hoping they would come with the little inside rings needed to prevent leaks. They don't and apparently they cannot be purchased separately. So they are useless if you need to replace both.

Same as the other reviewer! I can't believe the comment the Philips customer service people replied... I used the Avent bottles with my older daughters and these weren't involved. They updated them sometime in the last 8 years when we were surprised with our new blessing, and it is so frustrating. If you forget to put these in, what a mess! The old bottles worked great. Why change?

I got theses bottles as a gift. I wasn't sure what the ring was for, so I didn't use them,and the bottle was fine. I thought the rings were for optional use. Then one day with a screaming baby, I didn't have the ring in,I shook the bottle a milk spilled everywhere! Even when I use the rings,sometimes I have a problem with getting the nipple and white cap to screw on together. Why in the world Philips thought this ring idea is nessecary is beyond me. I'm going back to any bottle that doesn't use rings.

I liked the old system without the ring! I misplaced 1 ring and the whole bottle is out if commission! They should come with a free spare ring or sell them cheaper

I was frustrated to learn that these fit only the Avent Classic bottles, not the Avent Natural bottles, as clearly mentioned in the item description on the Avent website. This has been time and money wasted.

I simply can't figure out why AVENT came up with this particular design, they could just make the bottle's neck longer to fit the nipple, without resourcing to an adapter ring. If you forget to install the ring (likely accident at night, when the baby is crying...), then the bottle will catastrophically fail, spilling all the milk on your baby. It's like if forgetting to put the detachable front on your car stereo would cause the steering to fail and the car to crash! Really poor desing
