Philips AventNatural nipple

We just recently switched to Avent Natural Bottles and my daughter takes to this nipple very well. Unfortunately, they are absolutely no where to be found in stores because, according to their customer service, they are being phased out and replaced by the new natural response nipples, which my daughter hates and will not take at all. Too bad they switched this product out as soon as our family discovered it and I am sure we can’t be the only family having this same problem.

My LO wasn't happy with the idea that she had to breastfeed from a flat nipple, since she was born she would not latch to my breast, the nurse told me that eventually she would get used to my nipple but it was a nightmare seeing her trying really hard to latch to it, so after 2 months of doing breastfeed and formula she got tired to my breast and she would only take the bottle, but then I had the hardest time trying different bottle nipples, I bought some expensive bottles and some of them helped a little bit, until Weespring saved us from a cranky baby! they provided us with Philips Avent Natural Fast Flow Nipple and my baby LOVES IT!! the flow is the best, and also it has helped her on not to have colics after her meals, and it makes me happy that with this type of nipple she could experience the feel of being breastfed and I love that it fits other Philips bottles that I have bought while trying to find the right bottle and nipple for my baby <3

My daughter has mostly been breastfed but the few occasions where she has gotten a bottle she’s been frustrated by the slow flow and feeling of the nipple. These nipples seemed to satisfy my picky little girl. She didn’t balk at the texture or shape and immediately drank her bottle in a quick fashion. I assumed she’d suffer some sort of distress with how quickly she drank her bottle (hello gas!!) but these nipples did not let her suck in a lot of air. Honestly I’m pretty impressed, that my little girl was so quickly satisfied and did not suffer the usual gas bubbles she’s gotten from other brand nipples. I appreciate the shape of this nipple and that Avent is trying to help us breastfeeding mommas not suffer from nipple confusion. While my daughter certainly knows the difference and still protests when given a bottle, once she latched she was happy enough to keep eating and I was able to not worry about whether she’d eat while I was gone. I have tried multiple bottles and nipples. I found the Philips Avent Natural Fast Flow Nipple to be one of the better ones. It has a great design and doesn't collapse. Not only is the flow perfect for my 11 month old son but it is also easy to clean. In addition, my son took to the nipple with no issues. As an added bonus, the bottle is wonderful too. I found it easy to assemble/clean and I really enjoy the wide opening on the bottle as it makes it easier to add formula or liquids. I received some of these fast flow bottle nipples from the weeSpring parent panel. I love the Phillips Avent line. My son has never had any problems with them. They are well constructed and easy to use. Also easy to clean. BUT, I would caution the use of fast flow (4) nipples with breastfed babies as the flow is often too fast for them. My 14mo son had some difficulty keeping up with it, but he still had no other problems.

I was given this bottle nipple to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel.  My 9mo old baby had no difficulty with the Phillips Advent Bottle and fast flow nipples. My baby never had an issue with being colicky, so I can’t judge as to if it would help prevent colic. There is venting on the bottle nipple near the edge where the plastic ring is located. The venting is very small in comparison to others, but I think a bigger plastic piece is easier to tear. I think the spot works well because it is not in the way. The lids to the bottle stay on well, but have an indentation that when pressed allows for the lid to come off easily. It works so well I was able to do it one handed and I do have difficulty sometimes due to joint pain. The bottle holds 11 oz which is a good amount if you need it. I don’t use formula, but I would imagine you could preload the formula and then have plenty of room to add the water and shake to mix. I think my favorite feature is the case that hold the nipples. I haven’t seen this feature on other bottles, so I end up buying a storage container or use plastic baggies. The bottle circumference is also a nice size as it fits easily in your hand. I think the size would also make it easy for a baby to hold their own bottle when it reaches that skill level.

Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this bottle nipple. I wanted to try it before I received the offer from weeSpring but wasn't sure that I wanted to spend the money. My daughter took to the nipple very well. It's easy to change the nipple for a slower or faster flow. I would definitely recommend it to other moms and believe that it would be money well spent.

I had tried many bottles for my daughter to use while in daycare and we had settled on one but it wasn't her favorite. She had started to not finish her bottle and was leaving up to an ounce and a half of milk in them. When we tried the Avent bottles with the Natural Nipple she really took quite well to them. She is 11 months and the flow rate of the nipple was perfect for her and she was actually finishing her milk and we have had to increase the amount of milk as well! She also will burp so much better and quicker with the Avent bottles and nipples versus her old ones. It has really made a difference in her feeding and we have happily converted! I breastfeed and I bottle feed breast milk to my baby. A couple of weeks ago introduced the Philips Avent Natural bottles to my baby girl and I fall in love with this bottles as the nipple of the bottle is really soft, smooth and looks exactly as a nipple. Also, didn't confused my baby and help her with comics. I definitely recommend Philips Avent Natural bottles and fast pace nipple to anyone who has a colicky or fuzzy baby and is also breastfeed this is a life saver.
