Philips does its utmost to provide maximum interoperability or compatibility with devices available in the market. As the variety and the implementations are vast, one may however come across some issues, of which some are to be tackled at the devices, rather than at the Philips device. This list below provides an overview of known or reported issues and a possible remedy to overcome the issue.
Before following the tips below, make sure:
- Always upgrade Philips Multiroom speakers to the latest available version. Refer to the user manual on how this can be done
- The SpeakerSet App is of the latest version
It is also recommended to update the device (smartphone / router / tablet etc.) to the latest available firmware version from the manufacturer for optimal performance.
Routers (Access points):
- Brand: Linksys
- Model: WRT610N_V1
- Problem: Cannot connect to this router by WPS. (Note: Linksys WRT610N_V2 (newer hardware version) works.
