The TV looks incredible. It did take quite some time for me to get the colors just right and brightness just right for an XBOX One S, but now it looks just fantastic and works exactly how I want it to. The settings I use right now with the XBOX One S are the preset game settings with a few tweaks.
MPEG artifact reduction-Off
everything else stays the same as the game preset.
I have found that this is the best settings for the XBOX One S with the Xbox One S HDMI Cable.
Everything about this TV from UHD movies to gaming looks fantastic. You just need the right settings. also make sure HDR is turned on as well as your HDMI set to 60hz + HDR

Terrible TV. Worst Ive Had
I don't know how this TV is considered 4K. I turn all of the HD settings to MAX and I still don't get even close to the quality of picture I used to get on my previous TV from a different vendor. The quality of picture on this TV is so disappointing that when I look at a friend's TV with the SAME SPECS but a different manufacturer, my TV looks the same as those older 720p screens by comparison. No 120hz true motion, it doesn't work at all for me (and this is after I've returned/replaced, so this is as good as it gets). Any supposed upscaling it does was completely untestable to me because the base picture is so terrible.
Of course, good luck GETTING to the settings because the menus actively discourage using user-defined settings. The UI for the settings is horrendous.
This TV is not smart. I cannot connect it to my Philips Hue bridge for added functionality. I cannot make it work with my smart remote that works with ALL of my other products. I can't make it work with my smart home hub. I have three other devices that can all stream video from services, so I don't need or want the same. There's no reason the TV shouldn't play nice with zigby based devices, for example.
If you've already owned a TV with 4K and 120hz picture then you will be disappointed with this TV. It does NOT measure up.
Do not buy this trash.

Unfortunately in order to make this TV work, you need also buy a roku. The apps available with this TV are comically bad. It has the Yachting channel, but not amazon video or HBO. There is nothing smart about this TV.

43PFL5602/F7 Sound doesn't sync with Soundbar, no Amazon Prime
Can't sync the TV to my soundbar...LG SH3K
If any other reviewers were able to sync a sound bar to the TV with the lips not being too fast, sound too slow... post the make/model of the sound bar that worked.
I can't believe there is no way to sync the optical cable.
Philips should wake up and offer the Amazon Prime app. They can keep their Vudu and Netflix

Great Image but design and interface need work
I about to get an LG 42in UHD TV when I came across this set. Philips has always had a great reputation so I got this unit instead. I use it both as a TV attached to my Comcast cable service and as a 42in monitor for my new Mac mini that I use for editing my photos.
Works fine as a basic TV but the smart TV is almost worthless. You get Netflix and a bunch of other apps that are nothing more than expensive video rental sites. There is no way to add apps for Amazon Prime or other useful services. To be fair, I don't believe that other smart TVs are any smarter. They make you believe you can surf the web like you are on a computer and it's not reality.
One major complaint is controlling the headset volume. Unless I'm missing something, I have to go into an obscure spot in the menus to adjust it as there is no place to do so on the remote. All I can do with the remote is turn speaker volume up or down or off. I will use the headset frequently when it's late. Also the headset jack is located in a difficult to get to spot on the rear of the set so you just cannot plug it in or out when needed. Philips needs to address this.

Great TV, many features
Have had a few weeks, EASY setup. Sounds great with sound table. Really satisified with TV speakers on TV alone such as with VUDU and NETFLIX, really good sound. Had a Phillips that lasted 8 years, hope this will be as good and believe it will all ready be with its features. Has a voice support that aids in use of TV, such as she tells you what a NETFLIX progom is about, characters, etc. Yes you can still read the info. I like it, the wife does not, OH well.

not really a smart tv
Got this product think it was going to be great, smart tv 4k great. I will be able to get some apps and finally not have to have other devices on my tv so that I cant watch from hulu and other apps. but you cant even download other apps its only the apps that they have on the tv. if I would of know that about Philips TV's I would of bought another brand that allows he person to download apps that they like if this doesn't change first and last time I buy a Philips t.v
