    FAQs

How do I know if my Philips shaver is waterproof?

This will be indicated on the back of your Philips shaver, depending on your specific model.

If a tap symbol is printed on the back of the shaver:

Your shaver is washable. This means that you can rinse your shaver under the tap according to the instructions in the user manual. You cannot use the shaver in the bath or shower, however.

If a bath symbol is printed on the back of the shaver:

Your shaver can be safely used in the bath or shower.

If there is no symbol at all on the back of your shaver OR if a crossed-out tap symbol is printed on the back of your shaver:

The appliance cannot be used in the bath or shower and cannot be rinsed under the tap. You must keep the shaver away from water.
