docking station for iPod/iPhone/iPad

I really enjoy listening to the DC390. The sound and reception is of high quality whether listening to FM or Pandora. Clear crisp highs and bass you can feel in your chest. It has an equalizer with presets for music, remote that controls all basic functions, and battery back up. It also reliably charges my Ipod and Ipad2 simultaneously.The brushed aluminum finish is a nice look and resists fingerprints. This docking station will look and sound good in any room. You will enjoy the features of this dock even if, like me, you never use the alarm features.

It's so convenient to have this placed on my nightstand. I can charge 2 items at the same time.

The first unit we received did not work with the iPod Touch, but the customer service folks were great on the phone and sent a replacement unit which works great. Easy to use and does everything as advertised. The alarm functionality is great; two different alarms that can use different sources and be set to weekdays, weekends, or 7 days. Great sound!

First purchased unit was defective and I called phillips and they immediately sent me out another unit in just a few days. Customer support was terrific and helpful. I owuld purchase a Philips product again.

I purchased a quality clock radio with dual alarms over 20 years ago and have never considered replacing it until I saw the Phillips clock radio. The Phillips has dual alarms with settings for weekdays and weekends , two docking stations. I use an IPad and my wife has an IPod, which we can charge at the same time an wake to our own music, the radio tuner can be use to wake to also. The sound that comes from this small compact unit is unbelievable, rich and clear, at any volume. What a great product worth every penny, and I would highly recommend this unit.

SOUND: I have had the DC390 for approximately eight months, and every time I use it I am consistently impressed with the sound quality. Highs, mids, and lows are all reproduced faithfully, without being too boomy or shrill. The DC390 gets LOUD, too. Much louder than any other comparably-sized dock I've ever heard (and I used to work in a consumer electronics store). STYLE: Industrial. Phillips took cues from the brushed-aluminum look of the early 2000's, and it works here. The top is made of high-quality brushed aluminum, but the back and sides are made of some kind of matte-finish plastic. I am unsure of how durable it is, but it feels good in your hand. A previous reviewer stated that his iPad 2 wasn't a perfect fit; I disagree. The dock connector actually has a swivel on it and leans back at a slight angle to accommodate any iPod, iPad, or iPhone. The iPad leans back against an acrylic blade that has a rubber pad on it. There are only two complaints that I have about the design: firstly, the clock display is too bright, even at its lowest setting. I have to either sleep with the display completely off (just tap the snooze button a couple of times) or point it away from me. Not good for a clock radio. My second complaint is that the acrylic blade that holds the iPad up is not retractable, foldable, or removable in any way. This makes transporting the device more difficult and cumbersome than it should be. While I understand that it is designed to be stationary, I would have appreciated the ability to fold or remove the blade. OVERALL: I highly recommend the DC390. The sound is top-notch, and despite some questionable design choices, the style is great too. 9/10.

I love the duel docking for my iphone and ipad. Easy to use. I also love the duel alarms. Great sound from such a small size. Love that it has a remote. And it will get very loud for the people that do not hear well. Love my purchase!!

One of the best sounding bedside radios that I've ever owned. awesome sound which is loud and clear with astounding bass. With the option of charging an iPad and iPhone simultaneously its a winner all way round. I am very happy with my purchase.

I refinished my office in a modern black and glass motif and the Philips docking station is the perfect compliment. Although it has a sleek, high tech design it is simple to program and use. The controls are intuitive and become second nature quickly. The radio, which I use the most, gets excellent reception and has great sound quality for a small unit. I don't use the alarm clock functions so I cant speak to them. Some minor issues I have are that it does not have an external speaker jack. Also, it advertises being able to charge the devices in their cases. My iPhone has an OtterBox case and it is to thick to dock. Overall I'm happy with the docking station and it looks cool!
