I chose this model because Amazon was offering a great deal with added accessories like the Door Open sensor & the WiFi hub. I installed the door sensor in a recessed hole on my door frame. I read the instructions incorrectly and drilled the door sensor to the door thinking ther was a target switch. I’ll fill the hole with sawdust and PL glue to repair my error. I also drilled the upper hole to secure the outside panel. This makes it extra secure to prevent it from being pried off. I liked the lock assembly so much that I purchase a second lock assembly from amazon with all the same accessories. I searched for other brands that had the WiFi hub and door open sensor package but nothing came close to this deal. I only need one WiFi hub but will install both & keep each device separate. I’ll install the side door lock assembly tomorrow. I’ll compare the battery life with the side door lock in about six months. I will be the only person using the side door and my family of 18 with wife children and grandchildren will be using the main door 24/7 so I know that the unit will be tested.

Overall I love this lock the only thing that annoys me is that the PIN can only be used for entry and not to lock the door. If I have a guest I want them to be able to lock/unlock the door with a PIN.
